This is the moment hunter mains knew, Hearthstone didnt forget them
lol "hunter mains" maybe learn to play other heroes first and then you can cry how bad they are in the current meta
idk what you mean snitch, shaman needs heavy buffs now that they've lost pirates and trogg and totem golem. the class has no more early game, so fingers crossed we get some sick control cards in this expansion.
So, granted that we've got 1 card in the first five with murloc synergy, and we've added a new tribe, and this place is full of dinosaurs, does this seem a bit like a tribes expansion? Or is it just me.
i hope so, we don't have dragons anymore (outside of priest, which just has a few) so a new tribe would be fantastic. also, dragon support would be appreciated, but i think leaving priest with that identity is fine. just make them the dragon class, done.
Pretty excited for the new set and I'm adoring the new card back.
I was waiting for something dinosaur themed for a looonnnggg time.
Everybody talks about the cards,am the only one who would love to have Ben brode as a dungeon master?Holy shit he can create some atmosphere.
Stop copying what Kripp said, you too obvious.
Why the hell is it called poison spit? Shouldn't it be called venom spit? Rest in pieces English.
Isn't that the same? Shouldn't it be poisonous or venomous spit? Or spit venom/ spit poison?
From what I can remember, Poison and Venom are basically the same it just depends on how the body takes it. Poison gets into the body through absorption of the skin or digestive track. While venom is injected directly into the skin through a bite or scratch. So if something spits at you they will poison you because your body absorbs the spit. This is just my understanding, I'm not a toxicologist, so don't come hammering me if i'm wrong please.
"Toxins are poisons produced by organisms in nature, and venoms are toxins injected by a bite or sting (this is exclusive to animals). The difference between venom and other poisons is the delivery method."
From Wikipedia, so yes it seems in this case "poison" is correct. Yay for accurate card wording.
Not really, as you quoted wikipedia, venoms are toxins injected by bite or sting. Poisons are eaten for example I would a poisonous mushroom not a venomous mushroom. Unless you're eating Verdant Longneck you should be safe from its poison spit.
Close but no cigar, poison is something you ingest by your own accord, venom is something ingested into you.
Ok i believe this the most concrete way of explaining things...
"Poison must be inhaled, ingested, or delivered via touch, while venom is injected into a wound. This may seem overly pedantic, but it should be noted that venom isn't usually poisonous (meaning it generally won't hurt you too much or at all if delivered in a different fashion than injecting, even if you swallow it)"
Meaning if something spits on you and it's venomous it doesn't work. But if something spits on you and it's poisonous then your body either absorbs it through skin or through the mouth.
Also this is a long thread just talking about poison lol.
Interesting what Poison Spit adopt card do. Any suggestions?
Oh, I found in Idod99 comment below: Destroy any minion damaged by this minion
ì though they didint want conceal in the game yet they printed a card that says "give your minion stealth until next turn
It will not be much different than using any other stealth minion in the game like stranglethorn tiger. Are we going to complain about that too?
Though the other points made are valid (not castable for free with Preparation/abusable by Gadgetzan Auctioneer), there are situations this will affect more than a specific minion, possibly all.
Gentle Megasaur is one case in point we know about already, where if your board is full of Murlocs, it will Conceal the caster's board. True, the ways concealed Murlocs are abusable differ from Rogue's usual suspects, but the fact that all these cards are neutral opens the door for varying class card interactions that may be just as bad, or worse.
Think Bloodlust or Everyfin is Awesome just as a couple quick examples for Shaman which shows how it might greatly narrows the range of viable counters/defenses for the following turn kill (based on currently available pool of cards; admittedly anyfin is possible once the rest of UnGoro comes out). Savage Roar or other mass buffs for Druid. Interesting to think about.
