Back to the Class navigation guideNew Keyword: Excavate
Cards with the new Excavate keyword give you a Treasure when played. Each time you Excavate, you get a Treasure from the tier you’re on, and then you progress to the next tier, so the further you dig into the mine, the bigger and rarer your treasure gets.
So, the first time you Excavate, you get one of five 1-mana Common Treasures. The next time you Excavate, you get one of five 2-mana Rare Treasures. Then one of five 3-mana Epic Treasures. Once you tap out your mine, you start your excavation over at Common in a new vein! In total, there are 15 Neutral Excavation Treasures that all classes can dig up: five at each rarity.
Five classes are working with the Bloodrock Mining Company: Death Knight, Mage, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior. Each of these classes has a class-specific 4-mana Legendary Excavate Treasure that they get when they Excavate for the fourth time.
The Treasures
Every Excavate Card has access to the same 15 base token cards and every Mining class (Death Knight, Mage, Rogue, Warlock, Warrior) has access to one more card, which they get by Excavating a 4th time. These are the Treasures you can get and they are NOT collectable cards.
Delve into Deepholm
The following cards were added to the main Excavation pool in Delve into Deepholm. They are an addition to the pool, the old cards are still in there too!

Most classes has gotten pretty good stuff, I do think Mage and Shaman got the worst when it comes to class/dual class cards however I do see possibilities with their cards espcielly from discovers also I do think they are the two most likely classes to go down the elemental route so its not total darkness for the two.
What class that got the best of it is hard to say but I do think I like the lineup of Paladin, Warrior and Death Knight the most.
I am so grateful to Website Devs - great job - I love the visual card placement ( dunno better word for that ) and when I click a card tokens and synergy are below. Thank you.
Where? If it was a sarcasm, mark it with a *sarcasm*... Never mind, found it.
Where to see all non-collectible cards? for example Staff of the Frog?
If you click on the card images, a pop-up (which we call popcard internally) will open and you'll be able to see all the related cards and in certain scenarios also cards that synergize with the currently opened card.
pretty decently cool new mechanics all around except for warrior trying to be forced back into taunts....
Not a single neutral 7 drop =/
too slow
Madness of Darkmoon Faire was released in mid November 2020, Showdown is not the first one to have early release.
The 10 reno cards deck is going to happend we already have like 4 neutral reno cards
what would be the reason to release an expansion this early? It's usually always early December if I'm not mistaken.
Is it because Blizzcon in November?
Likely because of Blizzcon and the fact last year the meta was a complete shitshow and they couldn't fix it cause of Christmas and New Years.
As others replied, a December release is not ideal in terms of devs being around for fixes and balancing.
lmao hearthstone devs being around for fixes and balancing
