a very good one drop for arena. it could be useful in constructed as well.

Mage now has Blizzard, Cone of Cold, Cryomancer, Demented Frostcaller, Freezing Potion, Frostbolt, Frost Nova, Shatter and Water Elemental!

And Frost Elemental of course.

If this archetype doesn't succeed in April, I'd bet more cards will come later in the year.

They have a bunch of cards which Freeze minions, but only 2 of those cards actually synergise with the Freeze effect, Shatter and Cryomancer. WIthout additional synergies it's not so much an archetype as an aspect of whatever other archetype you put the cards with.
