assuming the result is a two six taunt, which makes sense thematically and design wise from what we often see from blizzard, I think the card is meh but not too bad, I wish that the quest for pally was better because that would make this better, but as it stand 4/12 with taunt is good especially when it is across two bodies one with a deathrattle to get the other. only problem is silence destroys and may be unnecesary.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
Seeing that Lightfused Stegodon is a 3/4 wouldn't it be reasonable to think that the token this card spawns is a 3/4 as well? Maybe it's not that horrible after all... At least it doesn't cast random stuff that might end up killing you...
Edit: Saw the token... I'd never play this card but I suppose we've seen worse...
Kinda brings backSludge Belcher's memories. Even on a 1/1 dude it is 3/7 taunt with a 2/6 taunt coming right up. I like it. Ofc Devolve is a hard counter but still a nice card.
Let's be honest, if devolve isn't nerfd to a 4 Mana card by mid year then blizzard is blind. Devolve should never had existed in the first place. It is the epitome of unfinished and it is 100% uninteractive.
Based on the flavour and effect, let's assume the Stegodon is a 2/6 with Taunt.
On turn 8, you play this on a dude - BOOM! 3/7 Taunt that turns into a 2/6 Taunt when it dies. Stickiest mofo for basically one card. Even if it gets Hexxed/Poly'd, it counts towards your Quest. Put this on something more valuable than a dude, possibly something you played on turn 5, and it's insane value. On turn 6 you have a huge taunt that turns into another decent Taunt. Sludge Belcher 2.0.
If the Stegodon doesn't have Taunt, this is complete shit.
