Hearthstone's next single player Adventure is Galakrond's Awakening! The first wing of the Adventure will be live on January 21st, 2020. This will be a linear Adventure -- straying from the "Dungeon Run" format we've seen for the past few expansions. 35 New Cards will be introduced to the game through the chapters of the Adventure.
"Galakrond’s Awakening is the final solo adventure in the Year of the Dragon and will conclude the saga that began with The Dalaran Heist. When we last left our heroes and villains, the Tombs of Terror had been unsealed, spreading plagues across the sands of Uldum. The League of Explorers defeated the Plague Lords, but Arch-Villain Rafaam escaped with the Plague of Undeath. We now know why: to resurrect Galakrond, the progenitor of all dragons!
Will E.V.I.L. prevail and prove that Rafaam is truly the evilest of all villains? Will the Explorers defeat Rafaam and save the world? In this adventure, you have the power to choose. Galakrond’s Awakening is two stories in one, giving players the ability to play through both versions of the story and experience two completely different endings. Unlike The Dalaran Heist and Tombs of Terror, Galakrond’s Awakening returns to the classic linear adventure format, allowing you to progress through the story by completing individual boss encounters in order."
Adventure Info
- The Adventure contains 4 chapters, with two sides to every Chapter; 4 for both the League of Explorers and the League of E.V.I.L.
- Each chapter will contain 3 unique encounters, for a total of 24 battles.
- You'll control one of the heroes or villains we've seen this year in each battle.
- The encounters will all feature premade decks on Normal mode. On Heroic mode you have to create your own decks.
- Blizzard says we'll be sure to see some familiar faces -- including George & Karl!

Where is the guide for this adventure?
Check out my video from chapter 1:
Who was that genius to write adventure costs 4900 gold( it costs 2800 what's so ever) so you need to check info before believe;D
When i spend 700 on evel side of 1 chapter and finished, i wanted to play other part of chapter. It says i must pay 700 to unlock it ! That is just a rip off.

Read Blizzard's official announcements please
It cost 4900 gold? Really?
Got the new adventure a few hours ago (east coast america) only have 2 more to do on heroic. seems pretty fun so far though!
You can get Rising Winds with Worthy Expedition
The third Shaman card is explosive evolution. 2 mana evolve a minion into a minion that cost 3 more. You can discover it from haunting visions. It's a bug. ( I have HSreplay to prove it)
alright alright alright...
Blizzard Stop taking my districts money 🤔
iss already 1 AM 1/22/20 here and no adventure is showing... will this be next week?
is it start??
Yes, there is such a world: the real world. Right now, Blizzard is testing the waters to see if people are willing to pre-order something they don't know about. And guess what: they will. And because of that, Blizzard will do the same with future expansions.
just a few hours till release and still we don't know half of the cards. gj blizzard.
also more shitty cards for priest as always
Though some seem to be down voting this I do agree with the sentiment even if I don't agree with the sassy attitude behind it and the statement about priest. I find it very unsettling that they didn't reveal the full mini-set of cards considering they had a pre-purchase. There is no world in which Blizzard should be asking you to spend money on a product without giving you access to knowledge on what that product was. In expansions it was fine because they were just offering it early but you could wait till a few days before release to see if you wanted it before you acted, this time around they are asking for you to purchase it before release and then not revealing the cards.
Does anyone think that the 35 new cards are going to be worth adding or just a way to make a quick buck by Blizzard?
Yes, you're nuts.
not excited so far. Seems quite lazy. Nothing really new to play with
I've not been paying attention lately to the new expansion at all since I never buy them, but can anyone tell me if the 35 new cards are only going to be used in the adventure or are they able to be added to decks in Standard and Wild too?
