That is so true. I can't even believe that there are people who play this card. It's +1 attack (and demon tag) for 1 more mana and a clear card disadvantage. On a battlecry. Seriously, does anybody really expect their opponents to need three cards to kill this? This should be discard 1 card. Then it's about on par with Sen'jin Shieldmasta; trade +3 health for a card seems fair.

People who are saying "this card is bad against X" don't seem to realize that your deck will likely have multiple discard effects in it, so you should use the ones that are good against X so they discard the other ones like this that aren't. For instance "This card sucks against Priest because of it's control effects like SW: Pain and Shadow Madness." Drop your succubus then and lose this card. But work towards that quest reward of never ending double 3/2s. And hope you don't tap yourself to death.

Noone noticed there isn't "from your hand". I mean, maybe it could also discard cards from your deck or even from opponents hand?

Edit: Just checked, there is no "from your hand" on any discard card, my bad.

This is a weird day when discarding two cards is actually a good effect.

It has 3 attack, not 2.  You'd have to use Shadow Madness which I don't see much in Djinni Priest.

Deathlord was a 3 mana 2/8 and saw a lot of play followed up by cards such as Velen's Chosen I will play it in my control demonlock and Bloodfury potion. 😊
