And that was one of the even variants I tried. Also had a Kathrena/Spellstone version with Dire Frenzy (Highmane/Devilsaur and Vicious Scalehide drawn by Witchwood Piper ), which I deleted from my decktracker so I don't have the exact list anymore.
Played with it today. lmao fun times. Slight salt when zuljin plays revenge in one of the first couple spells but interesting control spell hunter. Most games I get to play both heros.
Looks pretty standard. Have you tried master's call instead of Tolvir and stitched tracker? Not saying it's wrong but why baited arrow? The starving buzzard into raptors can be so nasty especially with a beastmaster up. Buzzard is one of those cards i like but at same time know its shit. It it was maybe a 3/4 it might see a lot of play.

Thanks, I will try the master's call. For the baited arrow: I wanted at least some removal and it gives beast synergy but maybe there are better ways.

Blizzard literally and pretty sure purposely made cards so you can play odd druid/hunter and even pirate(oops) ..even rogue. If I can guess 20-25 of 30 cards in your deck just by title or what you tell me your synergy is, it probably isn't interesting. I dont want a baku/genn is bad discussion but a big part of why they are going away is because of the "uninteresting" play they force into the game. Tell me the last time you saw an odd pal or odd mage on ladder and said "Wow, unexpected and refreshing play! Not stale at all" lol. Rhetorical.
Odd midrange: I dont like oondasta here. That's a card for scumbagging devilsaurs King Krush etc. Getting a 3/12 or worst is pretty meh. I like that you have witch's cauldron. I did that recently in a normal quest deck. Some silly stuff can happen. It's more of a risky in hunter than lets say lock/rogue/pal because hunter doesnt have a way to buff it unless youre gonna run arena fanatic in your deck(which in an odd deck you couldnt anyway). I feel like its close to being s decent deck. I might try something similar and comment later.
Even Mech hunter:This is refreshing. It's totally new.
Even Kathrena:Looks kind of standard, you just lost play dead and terrorscale.
looks solid. My only dislikes are Barnes..i gues more good rolls than bad and no dr taunts. Id probably play infested tauren. Playing a n'zoth with some defense is always good.

Oondasta and Kathrena don't need their typical scumbag decks and op support cards to work. Oondasta cheating out a 3/12 taunt is pretty amazing for Hunter, being a class that is really bad at fighting from behind. Also good at getting that clunky-ass mofo Baku out of your hand, in case you missed that. Rarely Halazzi + Tokens get in your way of playing it, but that basically never happens. Same with Kathrena. Even 1 big beast is alot of stats and is annoying to remove thanks to the deathrattle. As you said even and odd get carried by their heropowers, in return for a deck with worse cards and synergies.
About the decks. Odd Midrange plays differently than you would expect. Not always of course as some decks just need to be pressured down fast. But many matchups can be played slow and be won just by grinding out the opponent with board control + hero power, hence the amount of defensive minions and spells. Gladiators Longbow looks weird, but it's 16 damage over 2 turns with the hero power + 8 leftover mana on the second turn. It's a decent finisher and works well with the "grind out" gameplan. Sadly if you want to make this deck better, or rather more consistent, you would have to take out the Witch's Cauldrons, but I refuse because of obvious reasons. There is not much that is more satisfying than a Unleash + The Storm Bringer Combo.
Even Mech.. "This is refreshing. It's totally new." No, it's not. It's just Mech Hunter with less Mechs and in worse (not that Mech Hunter was any good to begin with). Only good when cheesing out Giants or Rexxar autowins. Still fun in it's own weird way.
Even Kathrena: How is the mech variation totally new and refreshing when this is not. It's not supposed to be a big hunter. Kathrena is just lots of stats. It actually has similarities to the Odd Midrange deck in that it tends to play the control type of game. Admittedly, the deck was missing the Vicious Scalehide because I build it quick out of memory, my bad (fixed the decklist). They are part of the core that keep you alive against Aggro/Midrange together with Dire Frenzy & Secrets and are the reason for the inclusion of Witchwood Piper (which didnt make any sense in this deck without them lol).
I'd never seen someone try even mech in hunter. A lot of the magnetic cards are odd.
To me there is probably no combination of secret/big hunter that will interest me. Been there, done that. Next. I'd rather play my oakheart hunter deck. Still high win % and has the typical boring secret package in it but just playing oakheart is always fun(unless youre a priest, then shame on you).
looks solid. My only dislikes are Barnes..i gues more good rolls than bad and no dr taunts. Id probably play infested tauren. Playing a n'zoth with some defense is always good.
Yeah me neither, lots of bad pulls but the deck seems pretty fun, I'll try it out soon when I craft a couple of the old cards that I'm missing
I like her because she can be used for removal, or spell power to support Starfall
The taunt option is not bad against the aggro decks too, so I do really like the different options Wardruid Loti offers the deck :)
Thanks for the reply. I own her but from a glance when i looked at her options I was a bit disappointed since she is a legendary. Not as bad as hireek but I "Ewwwww"-ed
I had one that was being pretty nasty called freetap fervor but i get bored of spam/aggro quickly usually.
I forget if the chittering beetle was worth it or not. I played it looking for more grim rallies or soulfires but can recall keeping lame crap that cost 5+ often which is more dmg than i want to take. Could throw in a jaraxus for fun
Arugal into book is an underused combo. Both cards aren't really used because every scrub plays odd.
In that pal deck if you dropped lens you could play spiteful. That deck is kind of weird because just by looking at the list i honestly cant tell if its any good or not lol. I think only even pal i play was a healing one with totem.
Lightwarden is broken in odd shaman. healing rain otk
I know about Lightwarden :-). I played the full OL version with it. Lighwarden plus the 8 giant combo rocked ;-). I did draw Zentimo from an Arena pack so i now try two decks with him.
This is the version i used the month before Boomsday to shoot me from R10 to R4 or maybe R3. Can't remember exactly.
The tunnelers did win me a lot of games. But i only played it for a short time. I usually dont´focus on warlock or aggro. I also tried a dreadlord or omega agent in the deck. Both are good.
RenoJackson made a pretty strong Even Hunter https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1234127-renojacksons-even-hunter
How are Even Rogue, Odd Hunter/Druid meta though?
I run this Odd Hunter. Also a Quest variant, which is just not that good sadly.
And that was one of the even variants I tried. Also had a Kathrena/Spellstone version with Dire Frenzy (Highmane/Devilsaur and Vicious Scalehide drawn by Witchwood Piper ), which I deleted from my decktracker so I don't have the exact list anymore.
EDIT: That's how my Kathrena/Spellstone version looked like iirc
I have an Odd Quest Beast Hunter but I don't have Halazzi :(
Played with it today. lmao fun times. Slight salt when zuljin plays revenge in one of the first couple spells but interesting control spell hunter. Most games I get to play both heros.

Do you like Loti or you just own it so you figure might as well? The Dorian include gives me a a bit of a treant if you know what I mean!

I made an even mage that i realy like and can´t decide if i should go more with it ^^.
I also made an even mechhunter that was ok but deleted it ...
My even dragonriding murlocs ...
another even pala ... that is far off meta but very potent. Used a non Hakku version to climb last year which is only three cards diffrent.
Odd overload shaman reworked as "Doombringer" so it´s in test :-)
Yeah me neither, lots of bad pulls but the deck seems pretty fun, I'll try it out soon when I craft a couple of the old cards that I'm missing
So no one ever got an odd warlock work?

New even hunter that is braindead af. I mean wow. I felt ashamed of myself after three complete onslaught games.

Even pala indeed looks weird so low on minions, but when you play it you constantly have somethign on the board. At least a token :-).
I used sea giants and undataker instead of one prelate + Hakkar and Hemet which makes the deck more complicated but i try a bit.
Someone wanted to see an oddlock so here we go.
The tunnelers did win me a lot of games. But i only played it for a short time. I usually dont´focus on warlock or aggro. I also tried a dreadlord or omega agent in the deck. Both are good.
No grim rally...no me gusta
