Dr. Boom, Mad Genius
There is definitely some questions about how this card works, so here's the deal!
- Dr. Boom's Hero Power is randomized every turn. It randomizes on your opponent's turn so they can see what to expect.
- You can never get the same hero power in a row.
- Dr. Boom does not appear in the Arena.
These are his different emotes.
- Greetings: "Here comes the BOOM!"
- Well Played: "You. You're good."
- Thanks: "Thanks! I'll destroy you last."
- Wow: "NICE!"
- Oops: "Huh. Failure IS an option."
- Threaten: "Don't make me push buttons!"
Here are his five different hero powers.
Puzzle Lab
The Puzzle Lab will become available starting August 21.
When you experience The Boomsday Project’s free single-player content, The Puzzle Lab, you’ll discover that science is fun! And dangerous! Not necessarily in that order! You’ll need to get your security clearance before you can gain access to these secrets, though.
New Gameboard
New Card Backs
Below are two new card backs for The Boomsday Project. A pre-purchase exclusive back featuring Mech Jaraxxus and a card back available through the solo PVE content, Puzzle Labs.
emphasis on "good" 3 mana minion
I guess there's Spider Bomb? Don't really think it's that great but I'm pretty sure it's the only other 3 mana magnetic minion. Not to mention it can fit well in the current Egg Hunter lists as more of a control card to clear your opponents stuff.
When the other cards will de added here? all of them are already at the official site.
You guyz just don't understand what is coming!!!
The Poggo-Hopper will smash you! Remember the old quest rogue? NOW imagine each next unit +2/+2 progression!
shadow steps, Sonya, Bankir, Zola, Vanish, Valeera and so so so on.. U`ll never play control decks never mid decks or combo decks to win it. NEVER!!! Maly druid? lol just try to make your combo while 11-11 13-13 & 15-15 pogo-hopers will cut your face on turn 7
Screen it!
sap & prep+vanish can help a lot. I`ll put in the deck all good copy or shuffle cards. The deck will be good with pogo-hopper & strider. It will be a huge assburning deck for sure. 1 turn pogo 5-5. There are SOOO many good cards for this thing! U can even draw exactly pogo-hoppers from your deck coz its the cheapest minion!
The difference though is that Pogo Hopper is a two of in a deck and the deck literally doesn't do much until it draws into a hopper. Sure it's powerful once it starts doing that I wouldn't put it on the same level as old quest rogue, especially since old quest rogue would get the quest, then just kill you with chargers. Pogo hopper lets you interact with them and you can easily just cast a removal spell on them. Wouldn't put the card on the same level.
Similar to Jadedruid. If you are fast enough and got enough removals you have a good chance to win against. It needs some time to get all the hoppers. You could see it in the reveal video. If Day9 wouldn´t have missed lethal, the rogue had loose the game. Just don´t give it a chance to get to much hoppers.
It won't be the best. But cards like Witchwood Piper is pretty good with this.
the quest was never a problem, if they made OG charge minions into rush minions the quest could be back to compeltiona fter 4 minions, because the unfair thng wasn't a bunch of 5/5, the unfair thing was the 1-0 mana bounceable fire balls, as long as cheap charge minions exist we will never get super neat build around cards like caverns below used to be.
If we see a Poggo-Hopper meta, we will indeed be in the darkest days of Hearthstone.
Witchwood wasn't even that bad, atleast it changed up the game a bit compared to other past expansions.
you missed my point regarding deathrattle. i'm complaining its the only main archetype that they keep pushing for the past few years. they "attempted" to make spell hunter a thing but the cards for it is absolutely narrow to one archetype use. never able to be utilized beyond its one and only purpose. take "to my side" for example, to use it, you have to build one narrow version of spell based hunter deck, it can't be utilized outside of that. then compare it to something like branching paths for druid which can be used in aggro, control, big, maly, or mind visions for priest that can be used in combo, OTK, big, etc.
hunter is made the black sheep of the hearthstone series for far too long already. is it any wonder you almost never ever see hunter decks consistently reach in rank16/8 of every tournament the past few years? compare that with the other classes. the disparity is stark obvious.
give you some examples that people take for granted of how other classes is allowed to be diluted by Team 5 Blizzard and mixed but no.. not ever for hunter regarding card draw & its supposingly SMORC identity:
- mage now can armor up&heal via arcane artificer and frost lich jaina
- warlock can now resurrect minions via gul'dan (resurrect ability that was suposingly unique to priest)
- druid also gained resurrect ability via hadronox (resurrect ability that was suposingly unique to priest)
- new coming paladin card enables resurrect ability (Kangor's Endless Army)
EDIT: fudge, i don't know why this quote reply to someone else's thread made it up to here. sorry.
For your little edit thing first off, yeah for some reason quoting now does that, hence why I never really quote anymore. Anyway, onto the actual post.
Sorry if this is a bit rude but if your point on deathrattle cards for hunter was that it's the only archetype they push, it didn't really come off that way. While spell hunter was attempted (and worked for a bit too), I'll accept that it's pretty much too narrow now. However saying that Branching Paths to pretty much any other spell in the game is a bit of a reach though, considering that Druid first off is the only class with the Choose one mechanic (not to mention that Branching Paths is also the most polarized example, other than possibly U.I.). I'll admit that a lot of hunter spells can be limiting, but so are a lot of cards in other classes. Warrior for example hasn't gotten a strong spell in ages, alongside shaman.
In terms of tournament play, I don't really watch tournaments and so I can't really comment on it.
As for all the examples you gave, simply pointing out a card or two that isn't apart of the classes normal identity doesn't really prove that the class has broken it's identity as hunter has also done it plenty of times before. Deathstalker Rexxar lets hunter create value by making cards and even though they are beasts, the card inherently does something that hunter normally doesn't do, along with having a board clear, not to mention all the cards pushing for a control hunter despite it never really being apart of the class identity. Simply because a class has recursion doesn't mean it's now all of a sudden breaking the class's identity.
i saw this and i tried to create some similar card to show, but i dont find that artwork, so i put another mechanimal
Wow, it seems legit, thks bro
It's fake, the art is from another game named Slugterra
http://slugterra.wikia.com/wiki/Mecha_Beasts
Plus: I'm pretty sure that Echo isn't gonna be printed this expansion.
Oh, yeah, well, that's not bad, because it was a kind of lame
Fake as fuck!
Art is from: http://slugterra.wikia.com/wiki/Mecha_Beasts
Echo isn't an evergreen keyword. Doesn't make sense to bring it back for a single card.
yea, you right, like i said, i didnt know about the artkwork so i could know if it was true or not, but following the other legendaries, i guess this will be then
according to the log lab 2, it says something about rockets, high speed and explosions, maybe its like "echo. custom a mecha-beast with rush, and the end of the turn its explodes" or something like that?
