what are those red crystals thingy anyway?
Murmuring Elemental + this at 10 mana = 6 mana 20/6
No, it would be even a 22/6. ^^
This card is only slightly better than stegadon. Big bodies matter less by turn 10, a lot less.
Even lock is already playing similar stat line minions for 3-4 mana.
This card is bad but ok if you play it on turn 4, it's ok to top deck past turn 10. What you don't want is to draw this like 5-7 and have to hold onto it then play it on 9 cause you can't hold it in any longer =P.
not crazy about the art change. I get that they didn't want the mech tag for magnetic shenanigans (this + Zilliax would be a 9 mana 15/8 with lifesteal and rush) but they could have easily just said tough shit and left the artwork alone which was really cool.
New goblin waifu. Who can complain?
My heart still belongs to her
Aya Blackpaw
I wonder if they had to change the voiceover for this as well along with the art.
Probably, since the old art featured a male goblin riding the mech suit.
Honestly, I think it would have been easier for them to just change it to a mech.
soooo i can discover this from that Stonehill Defender right? lol, this will be OP
anyone noticed that there is a new art for that one?
This art is awesome. Not only does it do a better job showing the pilot, making it clear the minion is not a mech, but it also showcases the omega symbol/flavor so much better.
probably due to disguised toast.
so why isn't it a mech now? If Mekgineer Thermaplugg, hwo's just a guy in a mech suit counts as a mech then why doesn't this? I don't see the difference to the art from before, only that the mech looks more scrappy.
New art is also mech.
Blizzard just keeps painting themselves into corners they didn't need to paint.
I just don't get it .. sure, only in turn 10, but .. IT'S A 4 MANA 12/6 TAUNT !
Larger stats are much less valuable the later the game gets. Assuming each player has 10 mana, a 12/6 is much easier to remove on turn 10 than turn 4. Rogues now have Vilespine Slayer and Assassinate, (in addition to removal cards available before turn 4), Druids now have Swipe + Wrath or something like that, Priests now have Holy Fire + another source of damage, Mages now have Meteor, and so on. Not saying most classes can't deal with a 12/6 on turn 4 the same way they could on turn 10, it's just that they have much more options. TL;DR, this card is perfectly balanced.
They are advertising this a Deathwing killer. I wish that would be that simple.
