Oh man now I can use this to buff my Skull of the Man'ari to swing into a minion for a big Nethersoul Buster!
The apprentice of
Much better than Cutthroat for Kingsbane in Standard. Cutthroat being a combo card really holds it back. Being a Pirate hasn't mattered so far.
It's okay at best, i'd say. But the most important thing i notice here is that now mages have the ability to dispose of their Aluneth before they start fatiguing to death. An indirect buff.
This should give your weapon lifesteal instead. Fits more with the flavor.
There are enougn +1 weapon buffs out there. But not enough sustain.
Even rogue LUL
So this is a way better Cutthroat Buccaneer? Each is 1 stat under vanilla, but this has no combo requirement.
Might seem a stretch, but this is the kind of thing that can help bring back Doomhammer. It would take some finesse, but with Shaman's new cards to help heal and stabalize, plus multiple battlecry re-enablers, could make for a fun attempt to bring some doom. :)
Super good with Doomhammer,
You can abuse this and combine it in Shudderwock deck or Elemental deck
Lol :
Shud and copy itself with grumble (like 2/3 shud in hands)
Play doomhammer and then shud shud shud shud shud...attack attack
so much fun so much meme
Wild Kingsbane will take any buff they can get, I won't be surprised if this is a buff to Rogue in wild.
Now you can consistently get rid of your Aluneth after drawing 9 cards
Pretty okay card for weapon oriented decks. Might even get used!
Slightly down-powered Goblin Auto-Barber which is sometimes played in Kingsbane in wild even.
Hunters
It might sound weird, but I'm going to try this in my Dragon Soul deck.
Greenskin was too expensive to put in, but this being 2 mana means that I get some extra use of the weapon against aggro.
I like the way you think
