So I'm going to go through all this and see what I agree/disagree with later when I've got more time - and quickly, something I don't say enough, I really appreciate that you keep doing these threads. We've got some different ideas but it's always an interesting discussion and I like to see how other people valuate cards.
That said.
Lyra the Sunshard is so bad. Honestly I'd have it down as a 5 MAYBE a 4 at a push, so how it's a 2 I don't know. Not only is the stat line utterly terrible but Priest spells in general are not very useful (particularly in arena) and chances are you're only going to cycle a couple of them and that's a best case scenario. If you get some Power Word: Shields off on Lyra then it's value, other than that? Euuuuuurgh.

As always, thank you for the excellent feedback! It's a lot of work, but I enjoy reading about different viewpoints for the various cards.

Thanks Neon, this is a lot of work to put together and you do a great job. I also enjoy the discussion on the new cards and ratings and seeing different people's perspectives. Definitely makes me look forward to testing them all out later this week.
I read this thread very interested! Can't wait to play the new Arena...
This may be a dumb question, but although the Expansion releases 6th/7th April the patch is going to go live tomorrow. Does this mean, we gonna play the new cards in Arena one day early? How did this pan out on other Expansion releases? Thanks in advance and have a nice day :)

I've been reading the thread very closely as well for the last few days, very nice work NeonAngel! I think the game is going to slow down a lot and we're going to see lots of huge minions. I therefore think both Giant Wasp and Stubborn Gastropod are going to be very good (both 2's think, you have them both at 3 now). On the other hand, I think Sabretooth Stalker is going to be too expensive for it's low health to be a 2, I think it's a 4, maybe a 3.
Look, I want to tell you something because you're very dear to me. And I hope you understand that it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart. You are the finest piece of ass I've ever had and I don't care who knows it. I am so glad that I got to roam those hillsides.
Why is it bad though? Heal + trading up in the early game for a very low cost, I'd say it's a pretty decent card (around average). Not a good card by any means, but it's far from bad. It would be a bad card without the +1/+1 buff.
Would you draft a 1-mana +1/1? I wouldn't, especially not with all the good rares already/coming out. The armor is in nearly every case irrelevant, in druid especially. If you can make it work for trades good on you I suppose but I'd not draft this over even Golakka Crawler.

Not sure what you're referring to as 1 mana +1/1. Are you talking about a minion?
Because this spell is not a 1/1 minion, it's more like a 1/1 minion with charge + able to heal you for X amount. Basically it's not a card we've seen before. I'd say the heal is relevant enough, as you end up taking a lot of damage when you have to ping with hero power a few times. So I don't understand the logic "especially in druid". You can only say that for classes like Mage, Warrior, and Priest, which one has a ping that doesn't take any damage, and the other two heals more.
Why even compare it to a 2/3 premium beast 2 drop for druid? That's like comparing Bog Creeper with Ancient of Blossoms. Sure the latter isn't as good but you're comparing a much better card with a more mediocre card.
Unfortunately I don't pay too much attention to this thread since Lightforce always does an extremely comprehensive analysis on new expansions, but Primordial Glyph is extremely strong, the card is basically discover a mage spell for ZERO MANA. It's obviously a tempo loss for the immediate turn especially if you play it on turn 2 but it's not a turn 2 play (but then again you'd still want to play this if you have no other play, and you gain the tempo back immediately when you play it.)
I'm glad Mage is as strong as ever so all the infuriatingly bad windowlickers still have a failsafe. Wouldn't want it any other way.

Similar way, I just ran away with several games solely due to Vicious Fledgling. That one is definitely 2, I'd even call it one of the better 2s. It's not 1 because if it's contested, it's just a 3 mana 3/3 soft-Taunt, but dropping it on uncontested board is often all you need. It's a 3drop that snowballs harder than anything barring maybe Archmage Antonidas, Scaled Nightmare and Gruul. What, however, is the key part about this: It snowballs the difficulty to remove it. Even if you don't get the coveted Windfury, you typically get something to make it a pain the arse to remove - be it +3 Health, Divine Shield, one-turn Stealth or Spellproof, it takes suddenly much more resources to deal with. And the difficulty grows... Basically, it's similar to running with a game with Micro Machine or Flesheating Ghoul, but it gets harder to remove with each swing.
I actually lost a game earlier in my run 100% due to the Fledgling. However in my own run of about 8-9 games it did literally nothing other than be a 3/3. That's why it's not a 2 in my opinion, so so often it's going to be a subpar card... yet every now and again, rarely, it'll full on win you the game. On balance that seems like a 3 to me.
I'm completely in love with Tortollan Primalist that card has won me so many games in arena, 8 mana 5/4 looks shocking but i've yet to have one case where it has a negative impact for me, In mage getting Blizzard, Flamestrike, Cabalist Tomb for 8 mana and 5/4 body is great value or even arcane int in a top deck war is solid, Hunter getting call of the wild is just insane its the old 8 mana CotW with a extra 5/4 body to boot that is scary as hell i've had it twice so far and ran into it three times which was painful to say the least, Played against a rogue who got vanish THREE times running against me so he bought himself 3 turns until he drew into something which was both funny and annoying as hell at the same time.
I'm sure there are times when it can have a negative if you end up having to pick between fireball frostbolt and pyroblast for example and smash yourself in the face or just kill the 5/4 but i rate that card quite highly unless you have board control already then i wouldnt play it just incase but if you're losing the board or on a empty board its so much fun to play.
Don´t you see guys that Vicious Fledgling is tremendously broken on Arena? It both won games and crash me by itself. I know it must survive, and that means the opponent doesn´t clean it, but i just think it has so much power for just been a rare card. I am not pissed of or salty, i actually love the concept, but i just think that a rare card should not win games alone. How were your games with/against this?
Is it me or arena has become crap?I concider myself a good arena player(5,8 wins on average) but since arena became stardard the quality of the deck you draft became super rng depended. Now the rotation made it even worse.I have played 4 arenas since and my results are 1-3,3-3 and two times 12-1.I feel like i am completely at the mercy of my draft.
In my last few arenas I've reduced the rate of which I play around AoE quite drastically and it's really working out. The bumped up occurrence bonus and lack of Area spells in UG rewards me almost every time.

Old school WoW Mage motto: if you don't end the run with the most damage dealt AND the most deaths, you're not trying hard enough.
