The phrase Bink says when you emote him, "This place. It's like a maze of twisty little passages. All alike!" is a reference to the maze located west of the Troll room in the original Zork game (ZORK: The Great Underground Empire - Part I). Possibly the most obscure reference Blizzard has ever put in the game.

The rare first boss in the kobold dungeons, Bink the Burglar, makes an obscure reference to one of the earliest computer gaming franchises when you emote him, but I seriously doubt anyone under the age of 40 would get it.

The armor synergy in Warrior really intrigues me. The draft process is probably still too random for it to be a reliable strategy, but a mindset change while drafting and playing Warrior may yield surprising benefits.

    Incoming 0-3 Warrior run.

I'm a bit high on Twilight Acolyte just on a hunch. I just have a feeling Priest is going to be able to draft dragons fairly consistently, therefore t will activate more often than not.

Also, watch out for Kobold Berserker. Don't let the random attack fool you, it's comparable to Ogre Brute, and that was a solid minion back in the day, despite the drawback. 4/4 for 3 is just powerful, and will often trade two for one.

I've had multiple legendaries and struggled. I've gone 12 with zero epics and zero legendaries. It's not that important.

Void Ripper (3): This one is pretty crazy actually. Can make for some seriously surprising finishers. Its kinda a missing link between Crazed Alchemist and Kooky Chemist (mana wise). Its not a bad minion at all, but it isnt that amazing either.

I agree, while there will be times where the effect makes for some serious WTF moments, there will be an equal number of times where the card is unplayable because it would totally screw you. Since all those situations will balance out, a 3 mana 3/3 is a 3.

We're on, I believe, around 87 or so cards, a few more than 50!
We've still yet to see most of the neutral commons, I'm pretty sure there's  a Bonemare in there somewhere...
Have we seen this expac's Magma Rager yet?

Sun Tzu wouldnt waste his time playing HS

I disagree, Sun Tzu would consider it a war game and would require all of his generals to master it.
...if he could get them to stop playing chess...

I use HearthArena, and it constantly bugs you to choose lower cost minions even when you should choose something with higher value.

I still use HearthArena for stat-tracking purposes, but I've turned off the advisor bubble and card ratings when I draft. My average has actually gone up since then. HearthArena can't account for your personal playstyle and experience. There have been times I've chosen the lowest rated card of the three offered to me simply because I know exactly how I want to use it.

Call me crazy, but I'm actually starting to think Warrior may surprise people in arena this expansion. Common wisdom for arena is tempo and board control, with life gain and armor gain being less important. However, the sheer volume of armor-synergy cards is making me wonder if an armor-centric arena draft would actually work. It would take a vastly different mindset from current arena play, but given Warrior's abysmal performance lately, maybe a new approach is needed.

Of course, my first Warrior draft after the expac will offer none of the new armor cards, so...

I wouldnt mind having arena games count towards the golden heroes either, but i can understand those being rewards for ranked play.

My vote is still for a card back. Total arena wins, 12 wins with every class, I don't care what the requirement is, a card back based on arena play would be awesome.

I love to see which cards would have been voted through had the choice been decided by arena-first players (i.e. players who play arena more than any other game mode).

Yeah, I should have clarified, the stat-boost from Spikeridged does not get copied, but the deathrattle does.

Also got the cards in hand wrong, so my interpretation of this situation has been wrong all this time.
