Double Decker - Alterac Multitype Wild Decks
Welcome back to another Double Decker article. How do you like the new Heroes? We haven't gotten a hero for every class within one set since Knights of the Frozen Throne. Getting to see it happen again is certainly exciting. They open up doors to new kinds of decks as well as support older ones. As with every new expansion, we dove into past decks and added some new cards, as well as combined archetypes to try making interesting new deck ideas.
These decks are mostly for fun, but they can work well if you’re dedicated to it. If you’re looking for a fun challenge for yourself, try out one of these decks!
Deathrattle Attack Demon Hunter
The Deathrattles in Demon Hunter are pretty good at keeping stuff on your board. This helps Ashfallen's Fury continuously refresh itself without having to spend too much mana on Rush minions. Felfire Deadeye and Expendable Performers can also be a great finisher!

Astral Dragon Embiggen Druid
Thanks to Wildheart Guff, it’s easier to recover from the discard cost of Astral Communion. Not only that, it’s also usable as an even bigger late game ramp after raising your mana cap to 20. This extra mana makes the increased cost of minions from Embiggen is less of an issue. Elusive minions are great for deck buffing. Many of them are Dragons, letting you make use of Breath of Dreams.

Secret Highlander Hunter
Hunter has been accumulating some pretty great Secrets over the years. A lot of good cards that support Secret Hunter involve casting those Secrets straight out of the deck. Having several of these in a deck with no duplicates, you can keep the pressure of a Secret Hunter while digging for those almighty Highlander Legendaries!

Big Spell Mage With C'Thun
Mages get support for their big spells once again! Iceblood Tower is intended for big Mage spells, but it can also fish out some of the C'Thun, the Shattered pieces more easily. If C’Thun is taking longer than expected, Arcane Burst can be an alternative win condition.

Handbuff Heal Paladin
A decent amount of cards that want to be handbuffed have healing effects attached to them. High Priest Thekal can definitely capitalize on any of those if you aren’t taking damage naturally. Healing is especially annoying after Lightforged Cariel equips The Immovable Object

Galakrond Thief Priest
Do you not have a good deck? Just use your opponent’s then. This is more of a themed deck rather than one with a win condition in mind. Though it is sometimes pretty fun to beat your opponent with their own cards.

Uldum Quest Secret Rogue
Thief Rogue got some new toys, and Bazaar Burglary always appreciates that. Completing the Quest gives you the consistent damage to progressively help you win. Including a Secret package will help so you aren’t too reliant on the other class cards you generated.

Freeze Galakrond Jade Shaman
Freeze Shamans have some pretty nifty tools, but is still best used as a way to stall for other plays like Jade Golems. A Galakrond set can also help with control, with Invocation of Frost contributing to the effects of both Galakrond, the Tempest and Bearon Gla'shear.

Sacrifice Egg Warlock
Sacrificial Summoner and Desecrated Graveyard do really well with small minions that have good Deathrattles. This is exactly the kind of thing the Eggs are for. Having those Deathrattles and cards that gain advantage from destroying your own minions can really push that early game pressure. Vectus and Tamsin's Phylactery are also able to cheat out more triggers from the Nerubian Egg and Devilsaur Egg effects.

Armor Rush Warrior
Rush and Armor makes for a strong defense. While you keep board control with Rush minions, you can build up your Armor to improve Shield Slam and Shield Shatter while working towards activating Captain Galvangar’s Battlecry. After Alexstrasza brings the opponent down to 15 Health, it only takes 5 more damage to win after Galvangar slams them in the face (which The Unstoppable Force can provide).

We hope you like these ideas for updated decks and combination archetypes to try out in Wild. We plan to continue presenting ideas for these kinds of decks whenever new cards are released. If you ever want a break from using the same decks everyone else built, try to challenge yourself by merging archetypes and making a successful combination of cards that can rival the power of decks in the meta!
But can they beat quest Hunter killing you on turn 5 or 6?
just quit when you see hunter and continue having fun. easy.
But when 70% of your opponents are quest Hunter or Warrior, when does the fun start?
the jade freeze galakrond shaman one is so fun, thanks for sharing
Had to put my Gla'shear to use :D
someone who debates about wild but doesnt play wild is also new to me. i didnt mean it badly, but you have to learn it on the hard way.
I do play wild, just outside of any capacity other than play dumb decks for fun. I’m not sure what exactly you’re trying to teach me, but go on if you feel like you need to I suppose.
the fact you cannot win games with one of these, they are not even your decks. maybe the horrible shaman is from you.
Out of all the criticisms I’ve ever gotten from my content, claiming it isn’t even mine is a new one for me. I mean, hate on whatever you want. But claiming anyone besides me has ever crafted a Meat Wagon in the last year is silly.
jade spirit? :D
Got legend using Freeze Shaman, the deck is really fun.
Thank you very much for your work!
Always look forward to it. Like a fresh air, considering current meta
Yeah, the meta could use an air freshener right now
Here’s something for all those who say none of my stuff could ever work. Yes, I know Phylactery is extremely strong with that Owl thing going on in standard. But when wild has Odd Hunters and Pirate Warriors by the hundreds, can you really call a deck that runs ten eggs and a Meat Wagon anything but ridiculous?
Who ever says your stuff would never work have never played with your stuff (Shet this sounds wrong but you get my point damn it). Thanks for this post Raptooooor!
