Garrosh, son of Grom. Warchief of the Horde. Forced into a role he himself declared beyond him, Garrosh has worked tirelessly towards bringing his vision of a world where the orcs are prosperous to reality. He showed no quarter to the Alliance, nor to the Black Dragonflight. But that was not enough. The entire world must be, in his mind, brought to heel before the orcs can rest. There will be peace when there is only the Horde. Pandaria trembled before his wrath and rage as he awoke the long dormant echoes of an unspeakable evil. Now, in his increasingly reckless drive for power, he has ousted many members of the very Horde he leads and has, most damningly, awoken the still-beating heart of the dread Old God, Y'Shaarj. There is far more at stake here than a power-mad orc. The longer he controls the Heart, the more the Heart controls him, and the last thing ANYBODY needs is an Old God running around freely and unrestrained...
New Mechanic: Impervious
- Garrosh has sequestered himself in Orgrimmar, building up his forces. Y'Shaarj uses this time to whisper poison in his ears. He has devised a way to surround his minions in an orange barrier that grants utter invincibility. No effect can weaken their attack, no assassination can destroy them, no ice can hinder them, no silence can cripple them.
When players select the Siege of Orgrimmar, they first meet Lorewalker Cho himself.
Boss Card
Wing One: The Vale of Eternal Sorrows
Boss One: Immerseus
Immerseus, guardian of the Vale, has been corrupted!
Immeseus is a giant water elemental, but he's been a little Sha-touched. It's up to you to... fix the problem.
Of course, he's not going to make it easy on you. His hero power is going to do some work, and he has a special minion for his own use:
Contaminated Puddles, when played, are on 2 Health out of their 3 Maximum Health.
First time Immerseus uses his hero power: *gurgle*
Emote Response: *hiss*
Defeated: *trickle*
Reward
Say 'something's fishy' one more time! I dare you!
For defeating Immerseus, players earn 2 Fallen Pool Tender cards.
Heroic Immerseus Changes
+ 15 Armor
His hero power now packs a wallop! And it's not the only thing that got stronger...
Contaminated Puddles now start at 2 Health out of 6.
Boss Two: Fallen Protectors
The Protectors were corrupted by grayscale Sha energies.
That hero power will hurt you, badly, if you let it go on too long.
Sun starts with two more minions on the battlefield:
Rook summons:
The other minion she starts with is:
Notice, 'cannot die'. Not immune. You can damage Sun Tenderheart, but you can't bring her below 1 Health. So if you go for face too quickly, Desperate Measures is going to punish you for it.
That is the conclusion of my first wing of my Siege of Orgrimmar adventure. I encourage everyone to leave a comment on the bosses, the dialogue, the decks (Which I'm still not confident about) and the cards. What you like, what you don't like, everything helps. See you next time!
To progress further, pass this Titan Construct's test!
AUTOCAST
Norushen initially looks quite frightening, however, he's not the one the player will fight. When he uses his hero power he floats out of his portrait and remains hovering to the side. He draws a lot of shadow magic out from the player and into the portrait. This forms...
With the hero power:
Plus, the Amalgam has a few special boss cards just for you:
Begin: Norushen: Prove yourself worthy and I will let you pass.
Norushen uses his hero power: Stand in the light and be judged!
First time Amalgam of Corruption uses its hero power: Face your inner demons!
Emote Response: Only the pure of heart may pass!
Player is defeated:
Amalgam Defeated: *Amalgam hisses as it dissipates*
Reward
Sha stains are surprisingly easy to get out of the carpet. This fact only encourages them.
For defeating Norushen, players earn two Lingering Corruption cards.
Heroic Norushen Changes
Norushen is, unsurprisingly, still the same. But when he uses Titan Trial he forms...
+ 15 Armor
His Manifestation of Corruption isn't any stronger than it was, HOWEVER...
... Self Doubt is going to really shut you down.
Boss Two: Sha of Pride
The last of the Sha has been unleashed by Garrosh. Destroy it before it escapes!
AUTOCAST
What does it mean to be prideful? It means a little blue glow starts to fill up your hero's portrait.
When Swelling Pride hits a player, it checks how prideful they were before and does extra stuff:
1 Pride Beforehand: the player releases a bolt of blue energy into one of their minion, dealing 2 damage to it.
2 Pride Beforehand: Adds a Projection to the player's hand:
3 Pride Beforehand: The player releases an explosion, dealing 3 damage to ALL their minions.
4 Pride Beforehand (Portrait filled with blue glow): The player instantly loses.
So be careful with your pride! Luckily at the end of the Sha's turn Norushen - who's standing on a corner of the map - gives you the card:
In addition to Swelling Pride, the Sha of Pride has the special spell:
But that's not all. When the Sha of Pride reaches 15 or less health, it KILLS Norushen. He removes all the player's pride with his dying breath, but after that... you're going to have to hurry.
For defeating the Sha of Pride, players earn one Amalgamated Hubris card.
Heroic Sha of Pride Changes
+ 15 Armor
AUTOCAST
Swelling Pride's pride mechanic remains unchanged. However, now Norushen only gives you Power of the Titans if you reach 3 Pride, that is, when you have Projection added to your hand.
Furthermore, the Sha of Pride will kill Norushen the moment his armor is broken, so you'll have to power through his 30 Health quick.
Wing Reward
He makes his living as a motivational speaker.
For clearing the Vault of Y'Shaarj, players earn one Sha of Pride.
Clarification: The Sha of Pride's effect will not trigger its effect again. It also will not trigger the effect of any other Shas of Pride.
Class Challenges
First, Paladins are pitted against Norushen for two:
Paladins are capable of damaging other paladins with exorcism. Don't question it.
That is the conclusion of the second wing of my Siege of Orgrimmar adventure. I encourage everyone to leave a comment on the bosses, the dialogue, the decks, and the cards. What you like, what you don't like, everything helps. See you next time!
Mage class card are so OP. This would make freeze mage really hard to defeat. I like it :D
Really? It freezes your own minions, not your opponent's. I was looking at Doomguard and tweaking numbers around that thing's drawback. Then again I don't play Freeze mage so maybe it would be strong.
Really? It freezes your own minions, not your opponent's. I was looking at Doomguard and tweaking numbers around that thing's drawback. Then again I don't play Freeze mage so maybe it would be strong
Maybe if you included a Mage class card that would let you silent all minions at a decent cost (similar to what Priest has) so it would be part of a combo...
That concludes the third wing of my Siege of Orgrimmar adventure. I encourage everyone to leave a comment on the bosses, the dialogue, the decks, and the cards. What you like, what you don't like, any typos, everything helps. See you next time!
Kuzad pls..... Orgrimmar Faithful is just insultingly bad :(
make it a 2/3
Looking back on it, when I was comparing it with the other 3 mana charges I made a math error: I subtracted a stat when I should have added. Thanks for the catch, to Hearthcards!
First time he uses his hero power: Witness the might of the True Horde!
Player's third turn:
Defeated: To die for the Warchief is... an... honor.
Reward
Who touched my gun?!
For defeating Malkorok, players earn 2 Kor'kron Gunner cards.
Heroic Malkorok Changes
+ 15 Armor
This time around, there is NO surviving Malkorok's hero power.
Ancient Miasma didn't grow stronger, but the Twisting Nether in his deck is now replaced with:
Boss Two: Spoils of Pandaria
+ 30 Armor
The loot Garrosh has taken is protected by this massive security system. Fight through it to continue!
So on turn 2 it'll deal 0 damage, on turn 3 1 damage, so on.
The Spoils of Pandaria has no deck, and the hero is Immune. To break the Immune, you have to destroy its armor. But how?
The Spoils of Pandaria starts with a full board.
Three:
Two:
And two:
Each crate contains a different minion, and each minion can only be summoned ONCE.
The Lightweight Crates can summon:
From the two Stout crates you can get:
And lastly from the Massive Crates come the minions:
Combined, these all will remove 30 Armor from the Spoils. One the Armor is down it's no longer Immune, so just a ping and you win.
Spoils of Pandaria's Decklist
N/A
Dialogue
Begin: Activating defense systems.
First time it uses its hero power: Defense systems fully online.
First time player opens a Massive Crate:
Emote Response: Initiating system reset.
Defeated: Security system deactivated.
Reward
No, she won't 'just' give you one of the stored rolls.
For defeating the Spoils of Pandaria, players earn 2 Storeroom Guard cards.
Heroic Spoils of Pandaria Changes
+ 30 Armor
Very, very little changes in the Spoils of Pandaria. The only difference is that the hero now costs zero, so it's going to deal damage from the beginning.
Boss Three: Thok the Bloodthirsty
Thok is a massive Devilsaur and bars the way forward.
Thok's going to be screaming at you... a lot. Eventually it'll be too much to handle.
Luckily, the player starts with three minions on the board. The first is:
Who changes it to:
There is also:
When he dies, Thok also gets a new hero power.
Lastly, there is:
And when he dies, Thok's hero power changes yet again.
That concludes the fourth wing of my Siege of Orgrimmar adventure. I encourage everyone to leave a comment on the bosses, the dialogue, the decks, and the cards. What you like, what you don't like, any typos, everything helps. See you next time, for the final wing!
Looking forward to the final wing! Curious how you will implement Garrosh and what will be the reward card since Garrosh is already a hero (though I'm not entirely against hero cards).
She's not a mercenary! She's just a hired sword on first come first served basis, that's all!
For defeating Siegecrafter Blackfuse, players earn 2 Blackfuse Sellsword cards.
Heroic Siegecrafter Blackfuse
+ 15 Armor
Overcharged weapons are the same type as the regular weapons, but they are quite a bit stronger:
Boss Two: Paragons of the Klaxxi
The nine Klaxxi Paragons have come to defend their god, Y'Shaarj!
Skeer's hero power summons:
There are NINE Paragons, but you'll only face three at a time. One in hero form, and two in minion form. When you destroy the current hero, the leftmost minion Paragon becomes the new hero, and a new Paragon comes in to the right of the remaining minion Paragon. They always come in the same order, too. Skeer as the hero, then Rik'kal, then Hisek, et cetera:
In their hero forms, they have their own unique hero powers:
Which creates:
Then:
Then:
Then:
Then:
Then:
If it tries to summon a nonexistent mana cost, like reduce a Molten Giant to a 19 cost minion, it destroys it instead.
Then:
Which summons:
And lastly:
In addition, there are two boss cards unique to them:
As well as:
Notice that ONLY Kaz'tik the Manipulator, the one who summons Kunchongs, will play Kovok. If he dies before Kovok is drawn, he will not be played.
For defeating the Paragons of the Klaxxi, players earn 2 Sra'thik Amber Master cards.
Heroic Paragons of the Klaxxi Changes
None of the hero powers change, but the Klaxxi Paragons each have 9 Health instead of 5, for a combined total of 81, over their normal mode's 45.
And in hero form:
And lastly, Kovok got FAR stronger:
Boss Three: Garrosh Hellscream
Garrosh has been draining power from the Heart of Y'Shaarj! Stop him!
Nothing too fancy, though his borders are alarmingly purple colored. Garrosh runs a fairly standard control warrior with a few minor changes, but with his AI getting through that should be simple.
It's when you kill him that things start to get interesting.
His portrait cracks but does not shatter. He then lifts up as if about to attack, but instead of hitting the board attacks to the left and hits the Heart of Y'Shaarj decoration. It sprays purple Old God blood on Garrosh, mending his portrait, healing him, and turning him into:
He has four hero powers, and each time he uses one he cycles through. First is Whirling Corruption. After that comes:
After which is:
And lastly:
After using Gripping Despair, he switches back to Whirling Corruption.
Once you bring this Garrosh below 10 Health, he again hits the Heart of Y'Shaarj and transforms into:
It SHOULD be noted, however, that he will only heal up to 15/30 Health.
The Sha it summons are:
The rest of Garrosh's hero powers grew stronger too:
Beat Garrosh's last 15 Health down, and he's finished.
Deathwing into Angry Chicken Deathwing into Angry Chicken Deathwing into Angry Chicken...
For defeating Garrosh Hellscream, ending his schemes of world domination, and utterly destroying the last echoes of the Old God Y'Shaarj, players earn 2 Harbinger of Y'Shaarj cards.
Heroic Garrosh Hellscream Changes
Not much is immediately different about Garrosh on Heroic. In fact, it plays out quite like normal at first.
Even when he reaches his second form, he's still unchanged.
However, instead of 10 Health you have to kill Garrosh ALL the way, and only then will he transform:
This time, Garrosh goes up to full 30 Health. The other change is that Empowered Whirling Corruption's Sha are stronger too:
The final change comes when you beat down his third form. Garrosh's portrait again cracks but does not shatter. He talks for a little, and then his portrait explodes.
But instead of winning, one of the shards flies into the camera and blacks out the screen. It fades back in to the battleground having changed to a ruined, corrupted Stormwind. The player has the same starting hand they had at the start of the game, and Garrosh...
Mercifully he starts injured, at only 36 Health out of 60.
All players' decks are reset. Their mana crystals are fresh. It's like a whole new game. Except for Garrosh's deck and hero power.
His deck now consists only of:
And his hero power, Malice. He'll try to cast it. If there is a minion for him to use it on, it will try to deal damage next to it. If it can't deal any damage, Garrosh gains mana. If there isn't a minion to use it on at all, he will NOT gain mana. You still have to kill him though, because once he hits 10 Mana his hero power changes into:
Down goes the Warchief! Vol'jin's in charge now and you have done the unthinkable: Killed an Old God. Absolutely, utterly destroyed, deader than dead and never coming back. Y'Shaarj is gone thanks to your efforts and Azeroth is safer now because of it. Gather your prepurchase Mogu cardback and, if you cleared Heroic, your Mantid cardback, and enjoy.
That concludes my Siege of Orgrimmar adventure. I encourage everyone to leave a comment on the bosses, the dialogue, the decks, and the cards. What you like, what you don't like, any typos, everything helps. See you next time!
What extra boss would there be? For Ulduar it was easy, Algalon. For Dire Maul I could squeeze in Cho'gall. But what extra boss would there be for Siege?

Wow. This is extremely well done, and the cards that you earn are both incredibly interesting and not power-creeped.
This is probably my favorite user-made expansion of all time. EDIT: and its only done through two wings!
Pog to the Champ to the one-two-Kappa.
Your first day at Blizzard is when?
:-)
Nicely done!
Really? It freezes your own minions, not your opponent's. I was looking at Doomguard and tweaking numbers around that thing's drawback. Then again I don't play Freeze mage so maybe it would be strong.

Boss Three: Kor'kron Dark Shaman
The True Horde's shaman no longer commune with the elementals. They just take.

Recap
That concludes the third wing of my Siege of Orgrimmar adventure. I encourage everyone to leave a comment on the bosses, the dialogue, the decks, and the cards. What you like, what you don't like, any typos, everything helps. See you next time!
Lets say if this was released would we have to wait 12 months For the next expansion/Adventure to come out?
? I don't know, that's a question of marketing.

So on turn 2 it'll deal 0 damage, on turn 3 1 damage, so on.
The Spoils of Pandaria has no deck, and the hero is Immune. To break the Immune, you have to destroy its armor. But how?
The Spoils of Pandaria starts with a full board.

Each crate contains a different minion, and each minion can only be summoned ONCE.
The Lightweight Crates can summon:
From the two Stout crates you can get:

Thok's going to be screaming at you... a lot. Eventually it'll be too much to handle.
Luckily, the player starts with three minions on the board. The first is:

That concludes the fourth wing of my Siege of Orgrimmar adventure. I encourage everyone to leave a comment on the bosses, the dialogue, the decks, and the cards. What you like, what you don't like, any typos, everything helps. See you next time, for the final wing!
Looking forward to the final wing! Curious how you will implement Garrosh and what will be the reward card since Garrosh is already a hero (though I'm not entirely against hero cards).
Wing Five: Downfall
Boss One: Siegecrafter Blackfuse
Garrosh's weaponry has to come from somewhere!
There are four possible summons for this ability.
In addition to these cards, Blackfuse has a unique Shredder card.

Rik'kal dies: Perhaps... I could have used some enhancements... of my own.
Hisek becomes the boss: Time for a little target practice.
Hisek dies: Ah ha ha! The hunter becomes the hunter.
Ka'roz becomes the boss: You move too slowly! How does your kind catch any prey?
Ka'roz dies: Curse this chitinous shell! I wasn't fast enough.
Korven becomes the boss: You now face the Prime! Bow down to your superior!
FIrst time Korven uses his hero power: We remain... unscathed!
Korven dies: Return me to the amber...

Emote Response - Greetings: Heh, greetings.
Emote Response - Sorry: Hm, my thanks.

First time Garrosh plays a card: Blood and thunder!
Garrosh transforms into his second stage: Anger, hatred, fear! They are weapons of war. The tools of a Warchief!
First time he uses Whirling Corruption: The power flows through me! Raaargh!
First time he uses Touch of Y'Shaarj:
First time he uses Desecrate:
First time he uses Gripping Despair:
Garrosh transforms into his third form: The True Horde WILL come to pass. I have seen it. It has show me! I have seen mountains of skulls AND RIVERS OF BLOOD! AND I! WILL HAVE! MY WORLD!

Heroic Garrosh Dialogue
Garrosh transforms into his fourth and final form: Hehahah, ahahaha! You think you have won? You are blind! I will force your eyes open! *Garrosh's portrait shatters and a shard flies into the camera, fading away to reveal the final phase* BEHOLD, MY GLORIOUS DESTINY!
First time Garrosh uses Malice: THERE IS NO PLACE FOR YOU IN MY WORLD!
Start of the player's 3rd turn:
Start of the player's 5th turn:
Start of the player's 7th turn:
Start of the player's 9th turn:
First time Garrosh uses Manifest Rage: I WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING YOU HAVE EVER LOVED!
Defeated on Heroic: No... it cannot end like this. What I... what I have seen... no... NOOO! THIS WORLD IS MY DESTINY! My... destiny...
Wing Reward
Nothing lulls you to sleep like the beating, disembodied heart of an eldritch madness god.
For clearing Downfall, players earn one Heart of Y'Shaarj.
When your opponent draws a card, the Heart will check if it's a minion, spell, or weapon, and give you a card of the same type:

Wrapping up the Siege of Orgrimmar
See you next time!
in before extra boss
please :(
What extra boss would there be? For Ulduar it was easy, Algalon. For Dire Maul I could squeeze in Cho'gall. But what extra boss would there be for Siege?
