CHA-CHING!!!
Maybe, in a deck that plays double Conceal (any miracle) and double Master of Disguise...
Fadeleaf Toxin is a less reliable but a further help for cutpurse.
Anyway, despite his low mana cost, Cutpurse IS NOT an early game drop: it must be used in combo, or, if without any stealth or at least taunt to protect him, as a desperate move.
Cutpurse is strictly a combo drop.
I really wanted to use this guy but it feels like most of the time he will end up being killed the turn he comes out. The good part abut him is I suppose it almost makes you opponent use something to kill him, or put out a taunt that they would put out anyway.
Sometimes you get good value out of it, but most of the time its just a freebie.
2/1 with charge as mentioned
or even a 2/2 with deathrattle / battlecry
.. would have made it one of the best rogue cards. FeelsBadMan
Goddamn Blizzard! Just give it one more health!
Honestly that's just you being unlucky and not terrible game design. If it happened every game then yes, but don't blame your bad luck on the developers, that makes you a pathetic idiot.
Does golden purse give golden coins?
Confirmed. Gold cutpurse gives gold coins!
2 mana 2/2: be immediately removed next trun.
This is actually really hard to use most of the time. Yeah you might score 1 or 2 The Coin's from it, but not even another taunt minion with is can stop a simple 1 or 2 mana spell from killing it.
Unless you buff it, but then again there are worthier cards than a 2/2 lol.
I play combo rogue, where you use a ton of small minions, coin giving minions, combo minions and Edwin Vancleef, cutpurse is the best in that deck.
Are you sure Tomb Pillager doesn't take the prize in your combo deck? :)
I didn't have tomb pillager then. I was only knew to the game and the deck was basically a worse form of the questing adventurer deck that popped up for a little bit.
I take it like a 2/2 with taunt at best... Really never fits into my deck for now - but I will search for some inspiration.
For me, this card is insane in arena if you draw it in first 2 turns.
give in game gold pls
This card hard-counters a hunter's misdirection on an empty board. Had one try this, cutpurse was misdirected. It gave me credit for attacking two heroes, two coins. I had a sucky hand, but I played assassin's blade turn 3. Since that pretty much gave the cutpurse permission to attack face the next four rounds, my opponent surrendered.
lol, Awesome!
I thought this was awesome. Doesnt trade well with 2/3s, but its job is to trade with the face and get the cash flowing!
Surely under rated...i droped it on turn 2 against a paladin deck with argent squire in board and he use Equality to clear that, the value is real...
