Will this card be replaced by Justicar Trueheart? Well, let's see. First of all, the worse body of Justicar should be worth, say, two armor. So in order to gain value from Justicar over Shieldmaiden, you'd have to use your hero power three or four times. In CW, this is generally feasible, but then Justicar doesn't combo with Shield Slam. So in general, I'd say this card and Justicar are about the same, on average.

Both have their place in the CW deck, you simply don't replace one with another. Play Justicar if the opponent doesn't pose any threat yet, play shieldmaiden if the opponent does.

this card infuriates me to no end. now warrior has 4 cards to get 20 armor total from. seems fair.

Kinda like how priests have 6 cards to get huge amounts of healing from am i right?

You must be really pissed now that Ancient Shieldbearer, Bash, Alley Armorsmith, Ironforge Portal, Bring It On!, Unidentified Shield, Mountainfire Armor, Drywhisker Armorer, and Iron Hide exist...

It makes a lot of difference, with 'at the end of your turn' you couldn't use shield slam with shieldmaiden.

Turns out to be a fiendishly good card that every Warrior runs right now. One key factor is that the matchup against Priest is improved with two unimportant 5/5.

For what it's worth, this card is much stronger than Guardian of Kings. So it's natural to run this card in a control deck.

Sjow got to #1 Legend on EU&NA using this card. All the naysayers now look silly.

Great card, having a battlecry means this card loses less of its value vs removal, and like loatheb it also kills or trades most 5-hp minions that druids like to spam with. 2x shieldmaiden will replace cairne and sylvanas as the staple 6-drop together with TBK for tempo and iron juggernaut for the luls.

I know this is an old old old comment, but it did amuse me just how crazily wrong this was.

Haha aye I know, it can definitely be difficult to judge how good a card is going to be without seeing it in play or in he context of he meta, we can only make assumptions eh!
