This secret is OP
very good card along with dr. 6
Arguably the best value paladin card
The rewording of this card needs fixing. It's not "when one of your minions die" it's "when one of your minions is killed", because death must be on your opponent's turn. Saying "when one of your minions die" is the same wording as many other cards that activate without the condition of it being not your turn. It's very confusing because generally cards specify such conditions, and Blizzard being Blizzard, this has already been brought up on the forums DOZENS of times to no avail.
Secrets only proc on opponent's turn, nothing confusing there.
Not true. Not all secrets only proc on opponent's turn.
There is 1 secret that can't even trigger on your opponent's turn! It can only trigger on your turn. At the start of your turn, that is. It buffs all your minions with Competitive Spirit
quite good
but people can smell when u play
Does Avenge buff minions that can't be targeted by spells or hero powers? The answer is probobly yes but in a scenario where I killed a enemy minion avenge didn't trigger even if my opponent had a faeri dragon left on the board.
Yes it does; like all secrets it only activates on your opponents turn, so if you play an Avenge, then two Faerie Dragons, and next turn your opponent kills one of them, the other dragon will be buffed.
As someone with limited card selection, this card has done very well in my cheap Paladin deck. It works really well with Argent Squire and other low cost minions and especially Noble Sacrifice. It's a great early game play if you can get it to work, having a 5/4 or 4/3 on turn 2 is nice, and can work without the coin as well. If you manage to get some Argent Protectors in your hand, it can go a long way.
so easy to play around with
Love Avenge. The fact that it doesn't trigger when there's only one minion on the board is excellent meaning you'll always get value for it unless the opponent has Flare or Kezan Mystic.
This one's great. One of the hardest cards to play around.
it must be fixed. Like Dark Cultist, it should activate even when no other minion on board!
Even if this card were to become popular in Paladin builds, you would have to wait until the Hunter craze dies down or this will just go poof with Flare.
Easy enough, there are two possible Flares and you can trot out more than 2 secrets. Their flare card draw will also help your Divine Favor.
