Battlecry: Discover a3-Cost card.
It's amazing what you can do with super glue!
What I really like about the Scarab is that it guarantees you a card next turn, unless you coined it out. And you can pick the card based on what your board presence is like. Doesn't really matter the Scarab is only a 1/1; most of the time you're able to discover a decent turn 3 play.
With all that nice 3drops from the Old Gods Expansion, this got so much more value :O
It just got a very nice buff: you can now discover an ironbeak owl :P
Awesome in shaman, some of the 3 cost spells in shaman tend to be situational and often labeled as "bad" when you're building your deck, but when you get to pick them on the go thanks to this little guy they can save your life.
Very good in mage because you can get flamewaker and secrets with it.
Getting two of these in arena, the times it generated Edwin VanCleef in an aggro rogue deck were just glorious.
Love everything about this card! From the effect to the art.
value gold card since the card you discover is gold too.
The Scarab alone snagged me an easy victory against what could be described as Secret Paladin with my Reno Pally deck, getting a 9|9 Blood Knight out on Turn 3 at the expense of my Shielded Minibot and his Annoy-o-Tron. The poor fellow couldn't last past Turn 6 considering how much damage he took.
That might have been me you played against lol
I LOVE this card! It gives you just what you need...
Also is it just me, or does it like handing out Shade of Naxxramas' a lot? lol
In a heavily tempo oriented meta, who would have thought that a 2 mana 1/1 with a modified card draw effect would have been so great? :)
This card in shaman is the dumbest thing. First time i used it i picked a hobgoblin then proceeded with another scarab (picking lighting storm) into trogg. The plays this card can make are unreal.
I'm lovin this lil bug in my Midrange Hunter, and Dragon Jackson, (Dragon Pally w/ Reno), decks. It's a lot better than I initially thought, especially for any class that has great 3 cost cards.
Yea, I just discovered another Brann with this little guy now that wing 2 is out. Nice bonus :)
THE BEST NEUTRAL CARD FOR MAGE!!!!!!!!! Why??? Cause also mage's secrets cost 3 mana!!!!!!!
This card is amazing in Priest! Usually my turn 2 as priest is hero power face and this card not only throws something on board at turn 2 it also gives you a turn 3. Also a third Velens is pretty good.
Thx Reddit for buffing this card!
