Dragon's Breath
Card Text
Deal 4 damage. Costs (1) less for each minion that died this turn.

Dragons breathe fire, sure, but did you know they can also breathe Cotton Candy? It's harder to give them a reason to do that, though.

Wouldn't something like "Costs (1) less for each Dragon in your hand." make more sense and make it a better card? Or deal 1 more damage per dragon
One of the most beautiful cards in my opinion :)
This card just might have the best golden animation in the game thus far...
Need BRM and then craft 2 golen ones, looks very awesome to me! :O
I like this in my freeze deck. It is useful in all stages of the game.
Stoke the Flames haha
This card has the same exact animation and play sound as Flamecannon. Complete and utter disappointment.
well yeah its the same but you can hit a hero with it.
And the artist who drew this drew Flamecannon
Despite it being inefficient mana wise compared to fireball, ice spear and almost every other direct damage card in the game, I've found this card to be rather good. Some people simply forget that it is one of the few do "damage to anything" cards in the game. Not to mention that its yet another direct damage source for the mage. While I doubt we will ever see it as a double in a mage deck, putting a one off in a mage deck is still rather powerful. I used it in combination with both a doomsayer combo, flameblast and a with BRM's Loatheb, Emperor Thaurissan to great effect in a good old Ice mage deck. Even in some cases using it at 5 mana is still rather good simply because it provides another option to do damage with. 9 mana to do 10 damage with a fireball/dragon's breath is still better than a 10 mana pyroblast.
I'm a little confused why theres 2 mage cards now. Is each class getting 2 new cards?? If so, then i dont think theres going to be that much more neutral cards
Yeah all classes get 1 common and 1 rare card which leaves 13 neutral cards, 5 being legendaries.
Flamestrike, this card, volcanic drake.
a turn 7 play that gives Doctor B nightmares.
i think it'd be more viable if it say, cost 12 or so mana, but the cost was permanently decreased when a minion dies
And mages get even more friggin' damage spells. They already have like ten others do they really need more?!
Imagine this in freeze mage with Doomsayer *o*
Oh god, I didn't even consider that. The 20 damage wombo-combo got a little bit bigger.
This card will be useful in some decks... but I wanted to comment just for the artwork. Man this is sexy. I can't imagine the Gold version.
Guys, if a token minion (e.g. from Violet Teacher or Illidan Stormrage) were to die, it still counts towards reducing the cost of Dragon's Breath.
With Spare Parts and cheap spells like Arcane Missiles and Mirror Image, getting token fodder for Dragon's Breath won't be too hard.
Another token factory minion that could help with Dragon's Breath is Hogger, who pretty much repeatedly poops taunts for free if you can protect him.
Flame Leviathan wasn't enough apparently, Blizzard hates mages. Absolutely awful synergy with anything mages can play, you can't give every class rushing mechanisms and then expect mages to play their costly aoe removals, and this card revolves around that, something mages can't play.
As a mostly mage player I don't see myself adding anything they've released so far.
