Intro
Hi,
My name is Stepwood, I'm a player on the EU-Server and a passionate deck-builder. Welcome to the Wild Version of Shadow Priest.
My interest in Shadowform began after Kibler was defeated with a version of Senfglas’ season 22 Shadow Priest deck:
http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/senfglas-season-22-shadow-priest/
Although TGT failed to hit the mark, Kodorider, Nexus-Champion Saraad and Confessor Paletress were cards that proved the inspire mechanic was at best a glorious failure. Glorious mainly because of the synergy with Shadowform.
KotFT has changed the Shadow Priest archetype entirely. Although the Highlander spine of the deck still persists, the deck can no longer be called a Shadowform deck due to the anti-synergy between Shadowform and the latest Priest legendary Shadowreaper Anduin. Shadowreaper as a card is nuts.
Key card decisions:
The card library in Wild is expanding with tremendous speed. So many cards to choose from and as a deck-builder the hardest task is not to give into greed; always to consider the mana curve and card draw, a deck full of legendaries is tempting but will guarantee a negative result.
For early game we have Zombie Chow, Wild Pyromancer, Tar Creeper, Potion of Madness and Radiant Elemental.
Of course since this is a Highlander deck we have to include Kazakus, Reno Jackson and Raza the Chained. For card draw we have the usual suspects Power Word: Shield, Northshire Cleric and Loot Hoarder.
Gluttonous Ooze and Harrison Jones are tech choices against the weapon-wielding maniacs in Wild and Elise the Trailblazer for an extra win condition since Shadowreaper Anduin itself isn't enough. Barnes for the opportunity to summon an inspire minion.
Velen's Chosen and Lightbomb are some of the best Wild Priest cards. It would be foolish not to take advantage of them.
Good luck and have fun!
EDIT: Added Recruiter instead of Vol'jin. Credit to eabjab.
This will always be my favorite Hearthstone deck. I can't wait to see what you add with the new expansion.
I don't really find Garrison Commander that useful in this deck. After you use Anduin you can't use him on the same turn you play him anymore. He has to be alive from the turn prior to be able to use his effect.
Recruiter is a great add with the Shadowreaper/Raza combo. You basically fill your board with 2/2's and get 12 burst as well
You are right. In my version, i Put out Voljin for Recruiter. Works nicely.
Hi Man!
I really like this new iteration and will give it a try in standard mode even if I usually play Wild now.
Great Build, Bro.

Do you have a list for a wild version? I'm trying to put it together in wild, but there's so much to choose from and I'm not great at deck building lmao. Thanks for the deck tho. It's the coolest one I've ever played.
For Wild, do you think I should cut Paletress in favor of Velen because of the hero power damage, even though Paletress is way more fun? Or can I fit both in?
Very nice deck. The best part is using Auctionmaster Beardo and Nexus-Champion Sarrad with a 0-cast hero power, it leads to all kinds of sick combos!
this deck is literally not for poor ppl lol
I don't understand why Reno Jackson should be gone early 2017, if adventure was released November 2015? Logic is to remove only Blackrock Mountain, and then League late 2017. If I made a mistake, give me a proof link from Bliz devs plox.
Who's forcing you to answer me, if you are so toxic? Pls google how to talk with people.
Fun deck, but doesn't work against jade druids or miracle rogues.
Doing ok vs aggro as it has enough answers to survive, but lacking burst to finish off druids in time...
ideas?
I added Jeweled Scarab, and since prist doesn't have that many 3-drops, I've been getting my second Shadowform from there, but even if I don't, I can still curve out something useful.
This is an amazing deck.
Its win rate is good but i really suggest throwing in the Tournament Medic as it provide some kind of sustained heal
Also i would like to thank you that although this is centered around the shadowform i found out that you can win even if you don't draw the cards.
To be honest I am finding it somewhat hard against fast decks like hunter and shaman because of the draw percentage.
But my friend you made my day with this deck and i will keep following it as it is pleasant to see the priest back in action after a bad season 32.
I agree with you but your deck is one to enjoy. I will keep watch on how you update it. Thank you again.
This deck looks sick! But correct me if I'm mistaken, having two copies of shadowform doesn't make Reno, Kazakus and Raza not useful? Just wondering.
They only need no duplicates in you deck, so having a shadowform in your hand/using one does not negate the effect of Reno, Kazakus and Raza. Having two shadowforms does cause the deck to be less consistent but well worth the risk of adding two copies of the card.
Used this deck from Rank 20. Now Rank 14 in about 1 hour of gameplay!
Although I used Prophet Velen for Confessor Paletress because I didn't have her.
Velen is amazing.
hmmm. i think we really need the SW:P, I noticed that once I get run down early game, without an excavated evil or early removal, it's really hard to stabilize.
Im actually thinking of putting in CoH + AUchenai but IDK what to remove. Excavated is too good.
Hi Stepwood!
Me playing your deck! Enjoy!
