Yes, I know, 2 legendaries and an epic. The Ice Block was chosen above Clockwork Giant and Hungry Crab (all three are terrible, but at least one had Illuminator synergy). Ragnaros was one of the last few picks, chosen over The Beast and Bloodmage Thalnos, while Chromaggus, which was the last card chosen, was picked over Mimiron's Head and Tinkmaster Overspark (I had doubts in this one because I had a lot of 7+ drops already).
At first, I thought it's not going to do much, because although it had a lot of good cards, the early game was so bad. However, Mana Wyrm and Clockwork Gnomes found their way into my hand almost every game, and I almost always have a 3-drop to follow. In rare cases where I start slow, my opponent starts slow too, and I can come back with the 4 board clears.
Best game: I was at two health, and my oponent had 3 minions on the board (a Bolvar that I froze last turn, a Recruit, and a Dragonkin Sorcerer). I achieved lethal using Spellbreaker on my Humility-ed Force Tank MAX, then Youthful Brewmaster to the Spellbreaker to use it again on my Rag. Fifteen damage to face gg and I was so happy when I found that way because honestly, I considered just doing a yolo Rag moment there
Only loss was due to a Priest who had 723 Deaths and a Mind Control. And Shadow Madness and Thoughtsteal to increase PJSalt of course. And my board clears decided to take a nap at the bottom of my deck.
P.S. I realized that I haven't posted my first 12 wins deck so here it is. This was done before the last wing of BRM was released, and I thought it's not going to reach 7 wins.
My first 12 win deck. Went 12-2 with typical overpowered mage. Portals gave me Malygos, Kel'Thuzad, Ysera, Hogger, Edwin Van Cleef. Lost to another Mage and a Warlock at 11 wins with 4 Darkbombs and 3 Voidcallers with Doomguards.
The 12th win I went T2 Sorcerer's Apprentice, T3 Unstable Portal, Unstable Portal, Coin, 8/8 Edwin Van Cleef.
I am playing since the first season of Hearthstone and today I finally managed to get my first 12 win deck, after 400+ wins in arena. And not only that, it was a 12-0 one too! It felt really amazing to accomplish that, especially with a deck I never thought had such potential. I want your opinion on this.
Does it look like a deck that could go 12-0? The mana curve looks really bad, and I miss the pretty important Consecration AOE. After drafting it I wasn't expecting more than 5-6 wins. How far would you think this deck would go?
What happened? Well, first of all, I was pretty lucky with my first hand and the mulligan phase, since I managed to get my 1-mana or 2-mana minions in most of the matchups. Abusive Sergeant was dropped several times on turn 1 to prevent the opponent from dropping a 2-life 2-mana minion. In a very nice occasion, I got a Turn 1 Abusive Sergeant drop, the opponent responds with the coin and a River Crocolisk drop, while I was having the Youthful Brewmaster in hand. So sergeant attacks face, goes back to the hand due to the brewmaster and gets to be used later on, while getting a minion on board that can trade effectively.
Secondly, Avenging Wrath. That card was a game changer. And I had two of them. I always seemed to have one at the point where I needed it. At the point where I was starting to lose tempo, there it was, helping me regain it. Or even when I needed just some little more damage for lethal. There it was, always making me proud, hitting correctly. Same goes with both Truesilver Champion weapons, about board control. Having these cards made the lack of Consecration and/or Equality not matter at all. They always managed to help me regain board control greatly.
I also need to say that I never had an issue of card shortage. I suppose it was the combination of more than enough card draw and having many 4 mana+ minions to drop.
Lastly, to talk specifically about some cards, Young Priestess was really helpful sometimes where it made my trades more effective. Defender of Argus was great, boosting my minions and my recruits. On one occasion, in combination with the Youthful Brewmaster, it gave me the 2 damage I needed to get lethal (Defender was already on board, so he was brought back through the brewmaster to give another 2 damage to two minions). I tried to use Redemption effectively but it never got to return Haunted Creeper or Silvermoon Guardian to life, for greater value through deathrattle or divine shield. Tinkertown Technician was only 1 time dropped while having a Mechanical Yeti on board, most of the times it was dropped as a 3/3 without a spare part. A mediocre but necessary play, especially at turn 3, because of the small amount of 2 and 3 mana minions I had. Earthen Ring Farseer also played a vital role in healing my minions. He was used to heal my hero only in the last game where I encountered a very aggresive Mage.
That's it, hope I'll come back with more 12 arena decks : )
So, guys. When I drafted this deck, I was like... holy s#!t, this deck is insane. And boy oh boy, was it ever. I've hit 12 wins like... I dunno, a dozen times or so, semi-casually playing arena over the past 2 years. This is the most insane deck I've ever drafted by far.
I did lose one game to a warlock who had exactly the right combination of board clear and removal spells, I almost beat him but couldn't quite punch through at the end. Outside of that, a couple of shaman with good early games got me a bit low, but otherwise, I completely steamrolled the entire arena ladder. Pretty sure anyone with any arena experience could have gotten 12 wins with this deck, it was just that insane.
Didn't SS the deck or rewards, but rewards were: 425 gold, a golden Savagery and a pack.
I'm really surprised this deck managed to get me to 12 wins as the card quality is questionable. There's huge amount of reach and and I was lucky to dodge flamestrikes, I guess.
Back with my 3rd 12-win of the week. This time with Mage, just really solid deck all the way through. Bit of a weird curve without many 3 drops, but I was able to play to pyroblast almost every game. 3 Piloted Shredder and 2 Flamestrike didn't hurt lol. Rewards were pretty beat though...
The basic approach that led to 12 wins was basically to hope for a good early game with the minibots, get board control and continue to go face to finish with either rocketeer and argent commander. I think I finished 6 games with rocketeer alone, so he was definitely the MVP in this deck. The 2 games I lost I drew terrible in the early game and had nothing to recover from it. Muster for battle in combination with frostwolf warlord happened quite often and pulled out the removal of my opponents. Other than that I was really suprised to go all the way without a boardclear or removal like truesilver and equality for example. Rewards were good in terms of gold which is fine by me.
Sap is bonkers in Arena atm, very tempo oriented, and it's the card that embodies the playstyle. Dark Iron Skulker is amazingly good aswell, double SI:7, double Auto Barber with Tinkers and Assassin's Blade more than made up for the lack of Eviscerate/Deadly Poison.
Mogu'Shan Warden proved vital in a couple of games where my opponents tried to swarm the board early. Oddly enough the least notable card was Bomb Lobber, but that was entirely because I -never- drew it, I couldn't for the life of me figure out which card I was forgetting when compiliing the decklist, turns out it was because the card wasn't played a single time during 13 games.
Another just straightforward Mage-deck, hard mulligan for early game and you're good most of the time. This deck was ridiculously stacked on the 4-slot so obviously saving coin for those proved the best call.
Double Fireball and Pyro was more than enough to finish the mid-game onslaught. Cone of Cold/Blizzard was great for stalling the time to draw the burn I needed. Patron yet again proved itself great in Mage.
12 win warrior, not that usual to see one of those, specially because this deck seems to not be that good. the mvp was by far the battle rage, got some insane value out of them in most games.
I wouldn't hesitate to say that I got insanely lucky in the draft. Only flaw with this deck was the lack of AoEs and the lack of 1 drops. The lack of AoE was precisely what made me drop my 5th and 6th game, going from 4-0 to 4-2, then I just steamrolled my way to 11 wins. One of the games I had 3 Fireballs in the hand against a Paladin on T5. So the following 3 turns I just Fireballed face for the win.
The last boss was scary though, 5 Imp Gang Bosses in the deck, 2x Hellfire and 1x Demonwrath. At 1 point, he tapped 5 times already and was still 10 health higher than me. The only reason I even managed to win that was actually because of the Crusher, which was a 9/9, threatening lethal and the fact that I yolo'd Rag on T10 against a Dread Infernal, Blackwing Technician board and the Rag killed the Blackwing Tech.
Lol, 3 of the best legendaries you can get. And the rest is pretty nice as well.
Honestly a pretty mediocre deck when looking at it despite having single copies of Fire Elemental, Fireguard, Hex and Lightning Storm, since it also has a bunch of subpar cards, and I certainly didn't expect too much when I drafted it.
Having x2 Annoy-o-Trons, x2 Dire-Wolf Alphas and x2 Stormforged Axe proved to be a super strong combination, ensuring that I had some really strong early game most of the time.
MvP outside of the strong early game was easily Bloodlust, secured a good 9-10 of the games for me.
Worst card was without a doubt Ancestral Spirit, only got to use it twice and both times it didn't get to do anything.
After months and months of waiting, here is my second 12-win decklist!

"Your soul shall be mine!" -- "You asked for it!"
Worst. Foreplay. Ever.
My latest 12 win arena deck and rewards. 0 Flamestrikes, 0 Blizzard, 0 Legendaries....
My first 12 win and it was with hunter. 3 legendaries andIa very salty kid that wanted me to die with cancer at the 10 win mark.
I would have been salty too. Coin Tinkmaster Overspark and tranformed my webspinner into a Devilsaur.
Then I played Kezan Mystic and stole Counterspell he never played a spell after that.
Illidan was surprisingly good and King Krush turned the table around in a few matches.
My first 12 win deck. Went 12-2 with typical overpowered mage. Portals gave me Malygos, Kel'Thuzad, Ysera, Hogger, Edwin Van Cleef. Lost to another Mage and a Warlock at 11 wins with 4 Darkbombs and 3 Voidcallers with Doomguards.

ouch. That will do it ;D

12 win Shaman for the thread.
Was quite a fun deck and an amazing draft to be honest, let me know what you think.
p.s. Sorry I forgot to get the rewards pic, they were terrible though for 12 wins, total of like 280 gold, 1 pack, a golden card and dust.
12-2 Hunter Arena:
Is it just me, or has Hunter been amazing in Arena for more people lately?
My 12 win Rogue , MVP Overall : Defias Ringleader
MVP in the 12win match : Wailing Soul ( unlocking 5 minions after mage used frost nova on em )
My first 12 win arena with hunter and 5th 12 win arena overall (forgot to take screenshot):

My 2nd 12 win with a paladin deck that I didn't expect to go that far to be honest without consecration, bok or a truesilver:

After a streak of bad beats and some time off for vacation, I'm back with x2 12-win runs on EU.
