rngesus never shines in my favor when i play the card it deals 3 but the enemy shaman always deals 6
They should change the text of this card to just "Deal 6 damage (overload 1)"
I have never seen it do less than 6.
Just another garbage aggro card to ruin Wild meta. Lovely.
Good in aggro/rush deck as a finisher.
With a Lava Burst this have potential of dealing 11 damage for mere 5 mana.

Very popular Shaman card, but I'm not feeling the hype.
If you point it at a 3 health target, you have a strictly inferior Lightning Bolt.
If you point it at a 4 health target, you have something like a Shadow Bolt, except it can be pointed at face and 1 mana of its cost is overload for added flexibility. However, Shadow Bolt does not lose you the game 25% of the time when you play it.
If you point it at a 5 health target, you have a SKill Command that doesn't need a beast and has 1 mana of its cost as overload for added flexibility... but it whiffs 50% of the time.
Pointing this at a 6 health target is usually a desperation maneuver. If it works, it's better than Fireball because it costs 1 less and has 1 mana of its cost as overload. Unlike Fireball, this will whiff 75% of the time.
because you are not choosing between this and shadow bolt, kill command and fireball. You get this or you get nothing at all.
You will have 25% chance to deal the damage you want
I basically just built a deck around this card. Would love some feedback.

Personally I don't like this card just because of the potential to be really bad and lose you a game or win you a game. I think you will more than likely use this on a minion that has 3-4 health or yoloing on a minion with 6 health and still expecting the worst possible outcome.

the whole point of GVG is like RNG dude. because all there crap always back fires on there creations.
A card game's core game play is RNG based like mulligans and drawing cards. Don't like RNG? Play chess 5 hours straight and tell me how exciting it is. Kappa.
According to their research, rng actually increases the skill necessary... watch the Blizzcon panel...
This is "EXACTLY" what Shaman needed to fill out their reach problems in a Shaman based spell power deck. The age of the spec "Elemental Shaman" has arrived with the Goblins vs Gnomes expansion.
with spell damage "totem + thalnos" this would be so good.
3 damage sucks, 4 damage isn't worth the overload, 5 and 6 are good and great. another 50/50. let's make every card a rag and just be done with it . . . jk. It'll be useful for spot removal in the same way lightning storm is for aoe, there's usually a minion or two on board to do cleanup duty for shaman for incomplete the kills or incomplete lethal.
2 Mana + 1 Overload is better than the Warlock'sShadow Bolt, and this one can target players. It's a pretty damn good removal spell, especially with minions on the board that can trade in case of a poor outcome.
