Man this deck is hilarious! Made a version of it to mess about with as i had all the legendaries and most of the other cards. Just finished playing a control warrior - stole his archivist and brewmaster, then hecklebotted his archivist out of his deck before destroying it with his own brawl. Sadly didnt get to use them - he conceded before i got a chance.
I know right? I made it after I realized a deck that revives wouldn't work well AND is rather already done (I AM a bit hipster about my decks. If it's already done well I have less of a reason to make it) so I just went "F IT just dump all of the steal stuff in there."
Then I saw it tear house a mech hunter and thought "OMG it worked!?"
(of course in rank 17 but that IS my criteria for a deck that 'works' :P)
sidenote: I seriously need to work on a mech hunter deck. :P
Quest Mage, currently in the iteration in my signature.
Actually Open the Waygate is not even a meme anymore, since RoS, and can be used in Ranked, as long as you know what you're doing ofc.
The fact it can be implemented either as Miracle, OTK or Exodia adds even more to its depth.
I think i have found my final home in this archetype.
I actually see them so often now that I've teched against them in most decks. A single tech card winds up being consistently impactful because of how many cards they draw you with coldlights are research project
I'm pretty salty. Giant quest mage used to be my go-to deck that's both competitive and meme since WW. Now I can't play it anymore because of how much tech I'm seeing. And I can't do a lot of the cool stuff I did in older iterations because some new cards are so powerful in the archetype, I'd be stupid not to cut some of the meme packages
That's why i am using the Miracle setup, which does not involve Oracles. Miracle is faster than OTK/Exodia at completing the Quest, so it can play around the Ice Block and Freeze.
What is your current tech against it btw? So i know for myself. :P
For the "single tech card", I'm referring to the 1x kezan mystic I put in all my tempo/midrange decks, though all of them already ran Loatheb because he's a great card even before the mages showed up. When possible I prefer dealing with the ice block rather than pulling combo pieces due to the giants build, which is more robust vs rats and kin, being more popular
Meanwhile all my druids have transitioned into using the oaken summons+hecklebot package. Hecklebots are a lot weaker disruption than rats but the synergy makes them not terrible in other matches. I've also put the naturalizes back in recently, mostly for the priests but the occasional overdraw/fatigue-damage-piercing-ice-block is a nice bonus
I don't play control decks outside of druids in wild because a lot of the matchups are depressing but I've noticed an increase of disruption (more than the norm) from them too. You even see rats in decks they have no business being in

Also gave this a go. Ruined a control Warrior then ruined a Khadgar Mage. Hilarious. I don't even have Chameleos.
It's nice to see that meme dragon decks work on ladder for other people as well. I went from 21 to 15 easier with my meme dragon pally than with other tryhard decks lmao.

I see. So your techs are not heavily targeting the Miracle Quest. B-)
Although i could see Hecklebots or Dirty Rats still disrupt the Miracle with the right pull at the right time (it already happened poor me).
Wild Pogo Rogue! Still deciding between crafting Tak or Barista...
Here's my meme deck: Demonic BombWock Shaman
I'm not interested in playing against control decks so I'm not worried about the bomb strategy being compromised by Archivist Elysiana.
Casino mage in standart and mill rogue in wild
I know right? I made it after I realized a deck that revives wouldn't work well AND is rather already done (I AM a bit hipster about my decks. If it's already done well I have less of a reason to make it) so I just went "F IT just dump all of the steal stuff in there."

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Why play casual when it’s just like standard. People take there net decks into casual to so there are no memes in casual 🤷♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ice Cream Shaman, but my Spectral Pillager OTK Rogue will always be the soft spot in the my heart.

Legend with : S65 Freeze Mage, S57 Maly Gonk Druid, S57 "Okay" Shaman, S53 Boom-zooka Hunter, S53 Maly Tog Druid, S52 Wild Tog Druid ft.Blingtron, S50 Quest Rogue, S49 Dead Man's Warrior, S41 Wild Clown Fiesta Druid, S41 Hadronox Jade Druid, S40 Wild OTK Dragon Druid, S35 SMOrc Shaman, S33 Jade Druid, S22 Control Priest, S19 Control Priest
I’ve been experimenting with a wild, big doll master plot twist deck
Also gave this a go. Ruined a control Warrior then ruined a Khadgar Mage. Hilarious. I don't even have Chameleos.
Wild Reno-Shudderwock-C'htun Shaman
oblivitron hunter
oblivitron combo on mechanical welp is insane. It's 100% win vs warrior but hell it's 100% lose vs rogue.
Tessa Rogue in standard
My love Exodia Paladin. Sooo fun and pretty viable against control (nothing feels better then OTKing Big Priest)
Actually swapped the Dirty Rats and the Zola for less conditional Righteous Defenders and Crystalsmith Kangor
peep the Mecha'tun Rogue game.
https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1275907-mechathun-rogue-ros
Dragon Paladin in standard. I like to play big buffed dragons and it's actually decent.
Also, I own a golden Deathwing and it's freaking gorgeous to end a game with him
If anyone is interested :
I run a meme dragon priest deck, but its actually been doing pretty good on ladder

It's nice to see that meme dragon decks work on ladder for other people as well. I went from 21 to 15 easier with my meme dragon pally than with other tryhard decks lmao.
Prelate - Undatakah - Reccurring Villain is my current "trying to make it work" deck.
