Totally OP card...
lol get wrecked Healing Rain.
Man, who would have thought that putting your faith in the light would heal better than putting your faith in the Healing Rain?
Holy light, the ratings for this card. Strongest candidate for wrong community assessment of the set.
I agree but first place belongs to Chameleos
Why ? This card IS
very good, what's wrong ?Edit: Alright, it's not very good, but it's not complete trash either
Its a win more card, healing yourself is usually not required when you have a board, so most of the time you will only get one effect or the other.
Healing yourself for 6 is meh and healing minions for 6 is expensive for 2 mana. Flash Heal do both and it didnt see much play, also this card has no synergy with Auchenai Soulpriest
Dont get the wrong idea thou, Divine Hymn is not a bad card, but its not that good either.
Yes maybe I'm completely wrong then, but Healing your board and yourself for 6 for only 2 mana didn't seem bad at all, as control/midrange Priests have often 2 mana leftover so you would use that instead of the hero power. But you're right you need a board first, otherwise, it's indeed not that good.
You need to understand the fact that this isn't just 2 mana. It's a draw, a slot in your deck. Cards that are not impactful enough are a waste of a card, see Wisp for an extreme example. In this case, the value is there but it's so situational and completely outclassed by Circle of Healing and Binding Heal (a card that sees no play) that I simply don't see it. Think of how at any point in the game this card could be any other card in your collection and if you'd be happier with that instead.
In terms of just raw power, this card is good, but I fail to see why you would want to put this card in your deck. In spiteful decks this is already out of the question, in control decks you don't really need to have the board if you can continue to clear it, in Inner Fire decks, running this makes your Shadow Visions worse. In terms of drawing with Northshire Cleric, Circle of Healing does a considerably better job. Yeah this card is strong in a vacuum, but it doesn't fit anywhere in an actual deck. I guess you can always get it from Lyra the Sunshard which is nice, but in my opinion thats the only play it is going to see.
Can we not forget it also heals you? just saying why would u want a potion that is both of these in a deck that has shadow visions except this heals all of your board + you, which is 10 times better. Think on decks we have now and pay attention to what you have in front of you and what this can be.
Waiting for the Auchenai Soulpriest missplays
Great Paladin Card!
paladin 2 mana heal 6 priest 2 mana fuck you
Semicircle of Healing
I'm pretty sure you meant sesquicircle
I know, but this card is equivalent to one and a half Circles of Healing (except it heals your face of course), and sesqui- is the prefix for one and a half.
OK now I get what you mean by semi, you are saying it heals only your characters but not the opponent's. So this is a semisesquicircle? Anyway forget about anything I said lol
What do you know; I learned something today. And in Hearthpwn's comment section of all places.
