No matter what, I can’t beat Archmage Vargoth in Dalaran Heist chapter 5. On NORMAL. I’ve tried with mage and the reduce cost HP. I’ve tried with Token Druid. I’ve tried with buff Paladin. Nothing I do works. I wouldn’t be so tilted except that I have to face 9-10 other bosses before Vargoth every fucking time I do a run. Really un-fun when he starts ahead of you on curve and can generate endless burn spells, meaning your boards can’t stick, and you’re totally reliant on either board clears and massively buffed minions only to lose to endless burn.
I feel you. Then when I finally manage to get past him I lose to Khadgar without even being able to deal a single bit of damage to him.
Fucking ridiculous. The RNG is so massively in favour of the AI on that chapter it's unreal.
Even when I beat Vargoth it was only because I managed to destroy his whole deck on turn 10.
Though I was already in Wild format, but didn't see there was another filter in the small left-down corner.

That makes no sense, you weren’t in wild
I think he means he was creating a deck and had set it to "wild" but still couldn't see Rexxar (wild cards don't automatically show up, if I remember correctly)
Opponent thinks he's safe thanks to his heavily-magnetized Annoy-o-Module against my pogo hoppers.
Luckily I had discovered Betrayal early on meaning I could use his Silver Hand Recruit to get rid of the divine shield and then smash away the module and then smash his face for 23 damage exact lethal.
Pogo-Hoppers might not be tier 1 in strength but by God they are tier 1 in fun!
It's saved me a few times and screwed me a few times. One thing is for sure - it's always fun!
He once filled my board with Lich Kings.
He also once cleared the board when I had three 22/22 C'Thuns on the board for lethal in the final boss battle. She had 4 measly minions with no more than 3 attack.
Still won't stop me choosing it every chance I get though ;p

Just beat a Master's Call Hunter in the tavern brawl with a Gonk Druid. Absolutely hilarious. Would definitely recommend.

Could work very well with Defile in wild. Can't see how it would fit into any standard decks though...

Only if you're a lucky bastard. Like my girlfriend. She's opened two Golden Packs in her Hearthstone career and both times got a legendary.
I've opened 2 and never got more than the standards 4 commons and a rare.
