I've been using Anacondra - Malfurion - Guff to great success. Anacondra is fast, does some healing and decent damage to casters. Malfurion reduces the speed of all nature skills next round to almost 0 as well as doing some healing and crowd control with root, and Guff is the killer with his second skill, which does obscene damage to protectors and even does well against other targets. When doing runs with this crew, you almost all of the time get the "Tauren / Elf" + 2 nature damage and HP/Attack buff, on multiple targets. Guff frequently does 80+ damage with his second skill, and he can tank in a pinch. Placement actually matters with this crew, you want them positioned as i described above, in order to consistently get of Guff's combo skill.
I have to agree with OP. This expansion killed the game that i knew, as far as interaction goes. There has always been combo decks that did their thing, but this is just another level of stupidity. I give it a few weeks, and everyone will be playing either mage, hunter, paladin or warlock for the simple reason that they dont need to interact with their opponent at all. Theres simply no point, trying to build anything else. Blizzard has already decided, which decks work and which doesnt via the quests. I really wanted this expansion to work, but it doesnt. I see that decks are powerful, but powerful does not equal fun. Not at all. Deck building is dead. Theres no reason to experiment, and trying anything else. If you try, you get steamrolled.
I've checked and double checked, and im not missing any cards but the achievement page says 1 legendary missing, 1 neutral card missing. But really, im not missing anything at all. Anyone else ?
Its the same every time. Blizzard, it seems, increases the number of minions in the pool for new tribes to give everyone the chance to assemble a good board with them. This obviously results in more OP boards too, but that calms down after some time.
Jesus....that's depressing. But you make a LOT of sense and actually I never thought of it that way. Somehow what you just said never occurred to me! Thank you for shedding light on the situation. Well fuck....is Wild the same?
Wild is an entirely different matter. The amount of tools are much larger, in wild and this allows control to exist.

You can win with anything. The important thing is, do you enjoy it. If you do, continue. If not, dont.

The OTK potential is pretty good here. I like it.

The priest quest is completely irrelevant. Any quest that doesnt win quickly enough is pretty much useless now. Solitaire yo

Simple. Oh My Yogg! and Counterspell kills my enthusiasm for the game. It is simply too frustrating.
If frustration > enjoyment then I dont play.
