rip
With all thoses Big Priests on the ladder, i thought about givining this card a try.
Man I freaking love the golden version of this one and Cabal Shadow Priest.
I just like that card :)
Any day soon my friend...
Idea for a buff:
Remove a random minion from your opponents deck and put it on the battlefield.
Not sure if this is OP but the chances you get something over 4 mana are still low, and all battle cry effects are disabled. As it is the card will never really see play in almost any meta. This effect is similar to Deathlords deathrattle except reversed.
The only guy I know playing this card is TotalBiscuit. He used to anyway.
What? He's still alive, last I checked.
He still makes vids about other games. He's certainly a fighter, and I don't think that purely due to his condition he doesn't play Hearthstone. If he wanted to, he'd play Hearthstone over The Division or that new Far Cry game. It's not that much more intensive.
This is the 1st gold card I got from a pack. Truly a fun card. Recently played against a face hunter. Mindgames pulls LeroYY JENkins! I am torn on the loss of battle cry effect though (depending on the card). It may not always be the "I win" card, but it when it shines I pull out a brewsky.
The card text is wrong, this is the correct one "Put a copy of ragnaros from your opponent's deck into the battlefield"
"
Weak in the current meta and has been for a while. But probably a bit more viable now that TgT and LoE slowed the game down a bit.
Although as Kripp has pointed out, the Discovery mechanic now means that instead of running one big 8-drop, most players are now running Discovery cards that are more flexible.Jeweled Scarab instead of a 5-drop and Tomb Spider instead of anything above 4. Hell, I do that because single minions are too risky.
This card remains a marginal one because the chances of really getting something meaningful into play are small.
I don't like how the golden version has light rings over the little minion. It obscures the whole point of the card.
I was lucky enough to get Dr. Boom and Baron Geddon in arena once. In one of my games my opponent played Mindgames and got my Dr. Boom. :(
That is both why I hate and love this game. Luck of the draw.
My favorite part of TGT is that joust and the hopefully slower meta will finally let me use this card.
In my troll priest deck I recently had a t4 Ragnaros from a Ramp Druid I was facing, and I facelessed it t5. Good times :)
