Depends on how many packs you opened. Did you get 7 from 85 packs? Then that is slightly above average (a rate of about 1:12, with the average rate being 1:15). Did you get 7 in 140? Then you had less luck with a rate of 1:20.
As for the epics, 30 is usually the average if you open at least 100 packs.
Isn't it better if I open my preorder on Thursday? So more chances of getting the legendaries I want as golden?
It depends really. I pre-opened my packs and didn't get the legendaries I want (High Abbess Alura and Soulciologist Malicia). I got 6 others instead, meaning I now have higher chance of getting the ones I want as the golden ones.
But it can also be the other way round of course, if you happen to open them in the pack pre-opening and get normal copies. It's all a matter of RNG to be honest.
Hello there guys, I took some time to analyze all the cards I got from my early pack opening and I wanted to share it with you guys. While I didn't get that many legendary cards, I got a nice amount of golden cards from the non-golden packs.
Number of packs opened: 142 (137 normal + 5 golden)
I think I will open them first and let RNGesus take the wheel, maybe I'll get lucky with some nice cards. I'll have around 145+ normal packs so I think it will be the best option to open then first. I think if you have fewer packs it's better to open the golden ones last.

IMPORTANT: If you play Galakrond Rogue in any mode, DO NOT bother adding me.
Galakrond Rogue players should simply be banned from entering Ranked. Or Casual. Or the game, to be honest. Let's rely on the RNG of a netdecked deck and pray we get the right lackeys (and secrets with the new Outland legendary), while almost roping every turn, because it's so hard to play this deck, I'm sure you need a PHD in order to know how to do the right plays, so that you don't reach rope every turn.
LE: I did not post the comment twice, so I have no idea how this happened. Would be lovely if a mod deleted this comment (as I cannot do it myself).

Well it depends. I usually create theorycraft decks and play with them anywhere. Like I got in wild to 15 just playing a meme Dragon Paladin deck with 30 minions. I'm not really that interested in ranked and have just a Token Druid for when I want to play a few ranked games. Other than that I go full theorycraft. Yeah, you lose quite a lot with theorycraft decks and it may get frustrating facing netdecks in casual, but I can cope with that, knowing I used my mind to create my deck and didn't just copy someone else's deck.
There is nothing behind the paywall. Anomaly mode is just an extra option to your run. Golden Zayle is unlocked when you have purchased all five wings, no matter if with gold or real money (they can be bought earlier).
But gold-wise it's not worth. You pay 2800 gold (so basically 28 packs) for 15 RoS packs, 1 golden Classic pack (worth roughly 3 RoS packs). So let's say it awards you 18 packs in total of value. And then there is also Zayle and the two card backs (one for normal mode, one for heroic mode).
It's only worth if you purchase it with real money, as for the same price (19.99 USD or EUR depending on where you live) you get only 15 RoS packs in the shop.
TL;DR: Is it worth purchasing it with gold? No. Is it worth purchasing it with real money? Yes. Does this mean you should only purchase it with real money? Absolutely not. If you enjoy doing solo content and don't mind trading 2800 gold for less value than you could get through packs, then I highly recommend you purchase it with gold. Otherwise, purchase it with real money.
Well because the main HQ are in America, so they release expansions and other content usually at midday in America. It just happens that it translates to evening time for Europe.

6 legendaries from 137 normal packs, no golden legendary. You're not alone mate

I got 6 in 137 normal packs, none in the golden ones, although I got quite a good amount of golden cards from the normal packs.

Probably Big Paladin and Upgraded Libram Paladin. Might also consider Spell Damage Mage/Shaman and maybe Beast Hunter.

Currently at 142 packs (135 normal from both preorders, 5 gold ones from the larger preorder and 2 I somehow got as reward from arena?)
Also so far 9 packs from gold, so my estimate will be around the 150 mark when the expansion hits.
This is the first time I have this many packs and hopefully will get some of the good legendaries and epics.
Question: For the people who ordered the 85 pack bundle, do you plan on opening the 5 golden packs first?
