Rastakhan's Rumble Guide
Put a copy of a random card in your opponent's hand into your hand.
I see what you did there.
Is everyone ready to steal Amara, Warden of Hope and other Quest rewards? (so long as they wait a turn to play them).
So good card, I got Tirion and Doomhammer in my last two matches, just play it at the right moment.
Is this card bad? Probably.
But one thing that's often overlooked is that it's likely to get you something useful at any turn in the game. Early game this will steal small creatures because they mulliganed all their big creatures. Use this on turn 6-10 and you're likely going to get a late game creature (which is what you want) since all their smaller stuff was played in previous turns.
Why doesn't this card grant an exact copy of the opponent's card? For example, if an opponent's cards were reduced in cost by Emperor Thaurissan, when you get a copy of that card via Mind Vision the cost is not reduced. I expect the same to be true of cards buffed by The Mistcaller; you don't get the buff.
It really should. Would be a good mid-late game boost but it was meant/used mostly in the early game. Probably not enough people caring about it.
Idk guess maybe try reddit.
So you spend one mana and a card to: Gain a card and know one of your opponents cards in their hand. But, i think the second part would be unnecesairy as you can guess what they have based on class and playstyle. So the deal is 1 mana gain a random card, or just dont put this in your deck and put a good card inn instead.
It`s not about you can guess enemy card, but knowing exactly at this moment what he have. This can be a good advantage. Also, there are many cards in other classes that will fit with your deck better than Priest cards.-Priest dont have any weapons, but their Hero Spell allow them to use one.-Legendariest like Hallazeal the Ascended-Magic cards like Sacrificial Pact which is strong agains his own class. Same as Execute-Or magic cards stacking with yours as Blessed Champion-Early cards like Flame Imp-Power cards as Fallen Hero stack well with your Shadow Priest (3 or 4 dmg for 2 mana)This are cards which you can`t put in your deck, but are stonger than what you can add. Ofcourse you can miss play and get something like Demonfuse
guess it's still a 1 mana draw a card ... oh wait
do you like golden animation?
Considering Priest is considered 'weak' in the game, this card can really make a difference.Turn 1 I played this against a 'lock running Molten Giants and pulled one into my hand.
Bingo, I know your Meta now. So all I did was keep getting minions out into the field, clearing his otherwise weak ones he attempted to fill in with and REFUSING to attack his Hero until I had an overwhelming group of buffed minions and was able to take him in one turn.
Wait....I maybe just proved your point.
To me, this card, as well as Thoughtsteal and Mindgames are the few cards in this game that feel.... wrong.
It's hard to explain what is wrong with it. But there is something about having your cards 'out in the open' (even through RNG) before you play anything that doesn't feel right. It feels like these cards violate a certain 'privacy' that I love about card games. What's in your deck (and hand) is your business, but once it's on the board it's all fair game.
Getting minions copied through a Faceless Manipulator, getting them Mind Controlled or stolen by Sylvanas Windrunner is all okay. The best and most fun games I played involved multiple Faceless Manipulators copying legendaries and making control of the board going back and forth with each Manipulator played.
The worst and most frustrating games I played were against priests who copied my cards and played them against me. Sure, sometimes I win against a priest and sometimes I lose, but for some reason Mind Vision ruins the fun for me.
I am sure many will disagree, but well, I wanted to share this.
