Quote from BlizzardWe’ve got two major pieces of news to share with you today! The first is a preview of the next major Battlegrounds update: Quilboar! The Quilboar update will include the new Quilboar minion type, 17 new minions, 3 new heroes, and a new mechanic: Blood Gems!
Blood Gems are spells that give a friendly minion +1/+1. Some Quilboar give you Blood Gems, while others have special interactions when Blood Gems are played. There will still be five minion types per Battlegrounds game once Quilboar are added, meaning that three minion types will be excluded from each game. Just like when Dragons, Pirates, and Elementals were added, Quilboar will show up in every Battlegrounds match until our next major content patch.
The full details of the Quilboar update will be shared in the 20.2 patch notes, tomorrow.

Quote from BlizzardFrequently Asked Questions
- Why can’t I buy a Battle-Ready Deck when the expansion launches?
- We want to make sure we preserve the exploration phase of each expansion when everyone is trying out new and interesting things. We won’t be offering Battle-Ready Decks right after an expansion launches because the meta always needs time to settle at first, and we need time to analyze the resulting data to determine which decks we should offer.
- Why can I only buy one? Will more Battle-Ready Decks become available for the next expansion?
- We're trying this limited run now to gauge community interest before we decide how expansive this should be.
- How long will Battle-Ready Decks be available after they start showing up in the shop?
- A Battle-Ready Deck will be purchasable for two weeks after it’s been listed on the shop.
- What happens if I buy a Battle-Ready Deck but I already have most of the cards?
- You’ll get those cards again as duplicates, which you can choose to disenchant if you’d like.
- There are Core Set cards in these decks, will I get those cards again?
- If you already have the Core Set cards in a Battle-Ready deck, you will not receive them again. If you don’t, purchasing a deck will automatically level its associated class to 10, unlocking all the Core set cards in the deck list.
- What happens if cards in my Battle-Ready Deck are nerfed?
- We always do our best to plan around potential balance changes. As such, we’re not expecting to nerf any of the cards offered in Battle-Ready Decks at this time, but we will extend the usual full dust refund to any eligible impacted cards if it happens.
- I did not have an open deck slot when I purchased my Battle-Ready Deck, where is it?
- It’s possible you may not see the Battle-Ready Deck in your deck list if you did not have an open deck slot when you chose your Battle-Ready Deck. If this happens, don’t worry! You will still receive all the cards from that deck. If you would like to delete one of your existing decks, you can then navigate back to this page and use our deck list. From here, you can copy the deck code to automatically assemble the deck in Hearthstone.
CORE SET CARDS WITHOUT NO RETURN IN PAID PREMADE DECKS. WHAT's GOING ON?
The Core set cards were loaned for free, why do you want to be reimbursed for a free set?
dude, premade decks are paid with money, why would u like to see free core set cards into shit that u paid for? Are u paying really only for the list? Something's really wrong with it.
The decks were made to be competitive which means including all standard sets.
If you don't want to pay for a meta deck you cannot afford to craft, you'll have to make do with what you opened from packs.
What are u talking? These pre-made decks are full of shit. They are not competitive in any way xD
You mistake Dust Value of a deck with its competitive range.
If you don't want the contents, don't buy them. There is literally no downside for you at all.
Finally, BGs content.
They are for sure cheaper than packs if you don't have the cards (maybe even if you do)? Where is the greed in that? Helps new and returning players lowering the entry cost
Quilboars are free to play with? You don't need a pass to play with a new tribe just heros.
Also game never been free to fully experience, this always been a freemium game and it is actually getting cheaper to get into with all the recent changes.
Of course they have stuff to improve, they are too slow to do some balance changes, BG updates don't come too often and it gets stalle fast, but you can't go blindly and say that what is good is bad too.
$$$-ready decks!
That moment you realise Quillboar was officially supported before Undead as a minion type...
Hi. When is the update going live?
I don't understand why people post that Warlock is 'great value' , Warlock has 4 good matchups (Miracle Priest, Control Priest , Control Warrior and Libram Paladin idk who play the last 2 but whatever) and has below 50% wr or worse against anything else... the only deck that offer a 'great value' for your money is Rush Warrior which has 2 bad matchups and above 50%wr against everything else.
Well, if you own all the cards it has the best *dust* value.
i would by the warlock, much better value, and the DH deck has very low win% according to hs-replay.net,
Warlock deck is super attractive,
also Y'Shaarj is quiet usable in other classes (mainly Druid)
I see this as a way to fill out the collection. Some of these do give you a considerable boost with that and since you know what you are buying, it is transparent. And perhaps start playing a class you weren't playing before. Lots of positives. The problem is, meta is shifting so these will last only for so long. We also don't have long before the mini-set so I wonder if buyers will end up disappointed very quickly that their already not-so-competitive deck to begin with looses its competitiveness even more within days.
That stuff about "captured data" is all good and well (though why they don't use the same data to correct balance is beyond me), but some decks here are tier 3 at best. Deathrattle DH and this Shaman are not looking like they actually worth paying 20$. Kind of a strange choice.
what do you want them to do? this shaman and deathrattle dh are the best decks for their respective classes right now. since blizzard would want to represent every class (rightfully so) i dont know what you are complaining about. Maybe midrange demon hunter could be a better choice but that deck is cheap already so deathrattle is understandable
I am not against selling decks, but this is awful idea only because of one reason. They would never want to nerf them! The main problem of expensive hearthstone is that they was really afraid to nerf before. Now hs imo is much more affordable than before. You earn twice more gold than before, you have much better preorders than before. And now they finally can nerf cards freely and again... they will be afraid to nerf cards, because this will ruin this decks. They would better just sell all class cards and that would sounds much better.
What happens with the mankrik, do we get 2 disenchantable copies of him?
