Absolutely fantastic. Good in control to clear small minions, good in aggro to push face damage, get a 3 drop and trigger overload effects.

This is just a cheaper more versatile Fireland Portal man. Very versatile due to less than half of FP cost, insane in arena in the past. But due to such huge amount of OP cards from this expansion joining the arena, not sure if it will make shaman good enough. 

This card fills a nice role for Shaman. It could work well in a prime burst sort of deck, or an overload tempo deck. The overload can be a drawback but it doesn't feel as bad as playing lightning storm on turn 3.
