My best arena run was only an 8 win mage deck. But when I did win it was blown out of proportion due to me having two fireballs and a deathwing. Most games I would draw deathwing near turn ten and have only a few cards left in my hand so I would use my cards and then when I had no cards left in my hand and my opponent has board control I just drop him. When I didn't draw deathwing I would use my duplicate with my sludge beltcher or with other strong minions.
Started off 0-2 against two priests then won the next 12 in a row.
Muster for Battle might be the best card in arena. Cobalt Guardian into Piloted Sky Golem won me about half of my games. Cult Master shenanigans won me a few more. Argent Protectors and the Truesilvers did their thing and after the two losses it was all easy street.
Pre-GvG 12-2 Rogue with my best pack up to now as a reward (all crap, but that brightness and splendour). Ok tempo deck that didn't queue into anythign too terrible. Blade Flurry with 2 Deadly Poison and 2 Assassin's Blade is amazing and won me couple of games. Coin + Defias start is cancer as usual.
GvG Warlock 12-0. I am just as surprised as you. Imp-losion apparently is awesome (unless topdeck unleash which never happened). 2 Darkbombs owned everyone and were exatcly what I needed every game -10/10. Shieldbearer was more annoying than Annoy-o-Tron can ever hope to be. Billy and gnome helped a great deal as well. Unlisted are: 2 Stormwinds, 1 Dread infernal and ultra-finisher in half of my games Reckless Rocketeer. Got a pack with a Tirion as my 1st class legendary.
Felt bad playing this deck, lost only to a final boss druid cuz my starting had was four 6-drops and he opened with micro machine into smooth curve. But its a pretty insane deck...
Rewards were gold and double pack with nothing notable in them...
Saved this from before GvG arena patch, just finished today (and surprisingly got GvG pack). Went 12-1, loss was from a paladin getting a turn 3 bloodknight off of two divine shielded minions at 8 wins. Was a real pleasure to play.
Ship's Cannon is basically a River Croc 99% of the time. I'd say it was the weakest card in the deck.
I used Scarlet Purifier's battlecry only once, killing off a Zombie Chow. Most of the time it was a vanilla 4/3.
Imo Piloted Sky Golem is the second best neutral epic in arena, surpassed only by Sea Giant. It goes 2-for-1 easily even if the pilot is a shabby 3/3.
Also, Humility was surprisingly good. Once it hit Fel Reaver, and the Reaver burned like 12 cards or so. It was hilarious watching my opponent trying their best to get rid of it.
[coghammer]Coghammer[/card] is possibly my new favorite pally card. It's better than Truesilver Champion, imo. Also, I've always been a big fan of Redemption, but combo with the new deathrattle minions and it's even better. A must-draft.
Close to an ideal tempo deck, even without the killer Paladin 2-drops. Cult Master and Spiteful Smith are bonkers with twin Muster for Battle.
Troggzor may be a contender in constructed, but he's wretched in Arena. Kezan Mystic was pretty awful too, but I still feel like she's a reasonable pick in a strong deck, for the occasional free wins.
I've learned from getting beaten down repeatedly that Annoy-o-tron is at its best in Paladin, because of the buffs and the mid-game tempo push, and that was certainly true in this deck.
Brand new member of the 12 wins club. Had a rocky start losing 2 very close games at 5 wins, but won the other 7 pretty convincingly. My MVP cards were easily the 2x Mirror Entity and the Kezan Mystic. Played so many classes with secrets, got momentum-crippling value out of the majority of my games.
First 12 win GvG arena after a big slump, no Truesilver needed! Also got Trade Prince Gallywix in one of the Packs!
Best Card: Muster for Battle. Combos so well with Knife Juggler and Cultmaster and the buff cards, and the Light's Justice does so well considering I had no weapons. Also, zero bad cards in the deck, which is quite a rarity in Arena.
Only lost was to a Mage with Sneed's Old Shredder into a Grommash (not that the Grommash was needed at that point).
From my own experiences, I've begun to suspect that Unstable Portal isn't as 'random' as it claims to be.
I relaly did not expect such a draft to make 12-2!

12-2 mage from yesterday
First time 12/12 win area win wohoo! Used a Paladin deck 12 wins 2 loses
Flamecannon is too good. Also Kel'Thuzad, but whatever.

Thoughts on new cards:
Shielded Minibot is great if you manage to drop it on turn 2. However, I've never seen him in the opening hand :<
Micro Machine can win you games on its own if unanswered. Use Blessing of Kings on it, GG.
Ship's Cannon is basically a River Croc 99% of the time. I'd say it was the weakest card in the deck.

I do not know how this deck made it to 12 wins, but it did.
500 gold and a legendary in my pack!

The two missing cards were both Frost Elemental
lame deck, a few terrible cards, 4 swipes and good late game =)
