You could replace Rag, but definitely not with Rend in this meta. Malkorok or Chillmaw would be okay, but if you don't have them then just a good tempo card like Arathi Weaponsmith or maybe a Mortal Strike to close out games against hunters.
Very possibly, I play a lot. I've been using freeze mage this season so that might narrow it down. Also Kripp added my totally butchered first priest game after about three months off against him on ladder to one of his youtube videos so it could be that. And no worries, I'll check back in tomorrow.
First off, replace the two smites with Zombie Chows. ZC is one of the most important cards for priest. Then you want to find room for Sylvanas and Loatheb, so I would cut a belcher and the spellbreaker. Trade in the Shadow Word: Pain for a second Death (if you can't remove Boom you usually die + Sylvanas synergy and all the Sea Giant zoolocks) and the Shrinkmeister for something like a second Thoughtsteal or a Light of the Naaru. Having one shrink with one Cabal and Shadow Madness feels too hopeful, and priest gets stuck with enough dead cards as it is. Two Light of the Naaru's feels a lot sleeker than one Holy Fire these days and the combo with Auchenai is so good.
Basically it comes down to the meta you're experiencing. If there's a lot of zoo and hunter, ditch the mind control for something faster and keep the taunts. If it's control heavy then you definitely want two Thought Steals and probably a Harrison Jones as well. Most important I feel is having two chows and two deaths in any meta. I tried running Spellbreaker for a while last season basically to deal with Sylvanas, but I decided it was better to just bite the pillow and deal with her the old fashioned way. If you feel the need for another four drop for your curve then I recommend Piloted Shredder.
Edit: Sylvanas is really hard to replace for priest, but you could go with Emperor Thaurissan or a second Cabal Shadow Priest in her place.
Almost never pick hunter in arena so I was a bit surprised to go 12 wins but in the end I had a pretty solid deck. Main strength was the beautiful curve and all the value cards. The Mad Scientists into Freezing Traps did loads of work, the Bomb Lobbers meant that my turn 5 was almost always a powerful turn and the Multi Shots were great as well.
I lost one game trying to be cute by brewing back a 1hp Imp Master and couldn't recover the tempo and another due to a terrible draw early. Most games I had the win or a concede by turn 8-11, this deck just snowballed in a very impressive fashion.

Yeah buddy, I believe you, I just don't find it super impressive. As you said, most anyone can get legend, it's nothing to brag about.

Ah well if you're top 275 legend then clearly you know better than Xixo, thanks for showing us what bad players we are. Kappa 123.

This is actually the new hunter weapon.
