Deck Digest v.2 - There Can Be Only One!
Welcome back to our second installment of Deck Digest -- an article centered around a collection of thematically themed decks.
As always, the decks will be of varying power levels. However, this month's theme has churned out quite a few competitive options. We hope you enjoy! Feel free to comment below with any input on the decks included, or what you'd like to see featured in the next episode. We would like to note that moving forward we might stray from the "deck for all 9 classes" theme as doing so limits our ability to explore some themes.
This episode's theme is Highlander Decks! The last few expansions have brought with them the introduction of several Highlander support cards including Zephrys the Great and Dragonqueen Alexstrasza. Below we spotlight them -- among others -- with a Highlander deck for each class.
I'm surprised Swampqueen Hagatha didn't make the cut in Highlander shaman. If it's anywhere that card fits, it's there.
i love these posts but yeah the deck list are like 20,000+ dust should be called HIGH ROLLERS deck
not every deck is suppose to win but create that buzz to show the bling but also just try something different from the normal grind working or not working LUL it's still fun to just clown out in casual with these decks
For decks with no duplicates, they sure run a lot of the same cards
Looks great, I love themes that are thematically themed.
WTF what is point of using Untapped potentional with only 3 choose one card... Terrible deck.
maybe they can be trying to get big efficiency from nourish
Something like, survive until turn 6 without one card on start, without full usage of mana in 4 turns and hope in drawing one card in whole deck? Unique gameplane, definetly unique.
Maybe MurlocHolmes should strop try making own deck and use some which already have some succes.
i find the highlander tematic funny, actually i wish blizz keep giving us at least one or two cards each expansion for this archetype
I never understood why people dont play Omega Assembly in their Highlanders.
But thanks for the lists. Will try Paladin.
Maybe has to do with the fact that you no longer have an increased chance of getting class mechs? The days were Omega Assembly and Boom's hero power would give you 4 Omega Devastators are long gone...
But is it worse than Dragon's Roar?
Assembly is cheaper, has Discover instead of giving completely random cards, and you get up to three cards.
In this deck 5 cards benefit from dragons, 3 from mechs.
