What are you planning on playing this season? - I will keep working on my Odd/Keleseth Rogue Decks and Zoo Warlock decks. Hoping to get over Rank 10 this month. I will complete the daily quests with my homebrew decks and Tavern Brawl each week.
How is that grind going? - Hoping to grind out enough dust this month to craft Leeroy Jenkins, I feel he is the next big upgrade for me to take some of my aggro decks to the next level.
What decks are you finding to be problematic and what solutions are you looking at? - Anything that takes the game late I am having a lot of trouble with. Fatigue Warrior, Taunt Druids, Big Spell Mage & Various Priest decks. Nothing I can really do about it until I expand my collection further.
Excited to see the new cards that are coming soon!.
Played until rank 4, then stagnated because i played Odd Pally due to low dust. However, i opened some legendaries and managed to get a pretty good mecha’thun pally. Nobody expects it; I managed to push to rank 1 in the last day of the exp, but no more time to get to legend...lol. But i surely will this season
That sounds really interesting! Do you have the deck uploaded somewhere so that I can take a look?
Ahoj! So I actually made it from rank 10 to rank 5 with classic Shudderwoc with Keleseth and two McT...it's really powerfull deck with only two serious counters: deathrattle hunter and Malygos rogue....at rank 5 Shuddi seams to strugle and i want to try something different...i have never been a legend and being at rank 5 on thee second day of month is really good chance for finally make it....what's the best deck to reach legend from 5??

I've seen a lot of Odd Paladin today (rank 4-3). Shudderwock should be able to reach Legend though, but other popular decks are Deathrattle Hunter, Malygos Druid and EvenLock.
EDIT:
Having some good success with Odd Quest Warrior. Added a Tinkmaster Overspark because Taunt Druid is common, turning a weak Taunt like Stonehill Defender into a 5/5 is also decent :p

Made it to Rank 1 last season but finished at 5 so I'm starting at 5 this season. Playing the Corpsetaker variety of Shudderwock Shaman and finding it to be a bit more consistent than the standard list. Hopefully I can hit Legend for this first time this month!
Reached Rank 5 (!) finally after an annoying up and down with several decks that always missed one or two essential cards. My Zoo lock, my actually first full deck at the start of Boomsday (missing The Soularium, but working without) helped me reach from 20 - 15; from 15 - 10; from 10 - 6, went up again and then today one evening from 9 - 5! If I'd known this before I wouldn't have to craft and disenchant several cards (Had tempo mage before; after nerf -> disenchanted for Quest Rogue, but didn't know he got nerfed aswell at that time; kept Quest Rogue, but kept getting packs and crafting Odd Rogue, didn't have fun with him and didn't get those high streak wins with him either. Played around with KeleRogue; budget Kingsbane, Odd Paladin, budget-to-almost-full Deathrattle Rogue, budget Even Shaman (missing Sea Giant, Al'Akir, Kalimos ... all didn't work, only frustration). And today after several loses with the so acclaimed Odd Paladin, I thought, "Why not try my old Kele Zoo Lock again" - and there it went! Picture below:
So what did I learn from this and what can I advice to newer players?:
DON'T craft decks when you don't have ENOUGHT DUST for the core cards, and actually the full version. You will just have multiple unfinished decks with not really good replacements that keep you getting frustrated. It might work until rank 10 but not to 5 (at least not for me). Craft some deck you enjoyed watching in videos and craft the full verision or go with a cheaper aggro deck, but the full version at least. There might always be 1 card that can be replaced because it is not core and just an expansive legendary (thinking of The Soularium in Zoo Lock or Edwin VanCleef in Odd Rogue) and thats okay. My replacement was Spellbreaker/Mossy Horror in Zoo Lock for this and it worked really well against those druids/drattle hunters. I should have just stayed with the same Zoo Lock last month, then I would have been Rank 5 already.
Now I'm going for legend I guess, crafting the last cards for my Even Shaman and trying to get to legend with Quest Rogue Elemental / Even Shaman, wish me Luck! And don't repeat my craft/decrafting mistakes ;D (PS: Just drew Aluneth again from Cobolds & Catacombs Pack, destiny tells me I should have kept mage, maybe he comes back next expansion)
I did it! Got to Legend for the first time with Odd Paladin! Ladder anxiety was kind of frustrating and I had to force myself to play some arena or do something else when I got tilted, but eventually I made it.
I found it interesting how small improvements in play can really add up over the amount of games required to get to Legend. For example I used to play a 3-drop on turn 3 a lot, which seems obvious. But it turns out it is often stronger to play a 1-drop + heropower. Also knowing the meta was really important and rewarding because playing around board clears is really important with this deck.
All in all it was a fun experience and I'm curious to see how high in Legend I can get this month seeing as there is still quite a bit of time.

Got legend today for the fifth time ever, with Deathrattle Hunter. 60% winrate with a total of 166 games and 17, 3 hours played. Always a great feeling! =)
Almost went undefeated from rank 3 to Legend playing Mecha'thun Priest. Faced a lot of Shudderwock Shaman, Odd Warrior and Taunt Druid, Deathrattle Hunter and some Big Spell Mages which are easy wins imo. Even won against the 2 Zoo Warlocks I faced :)
I using Hatul's Spell Hunter to climb from rank 4 to legend this season.
Stuck a little bit at rank 2 after struggling with even warlocks (got matched with them 7 times in row and got only 1 win :( ).
So I replaced some card -1 Deadly Shot +1 Crushing Walls and -1 Secret Plan (never got a chance to play it before they pull thier geist) +1 Freezing Trap and change playing style to Control instead of trying to kill them fast because it will encourage them to put lots of minion on board which my deck has limited AoE options.
Finally hit a legend rank with lots of even warlock match up (the other decks I saw is 2 Shudderwock Shaman, 1 Big Spell Mage and 1 Zoolocks)
Our final full month of The Boomsday Project!
Excited to see the new cards that are coming soon!.
Rusty Recycler
Ironic. It could recycle others, but not itself.
That sounds really interesting! Do you have the deck uploaded somewhere so that I can take a look?
Being a brainless Taunt Druid until Rank 14 and then figure out what other brainless decks to use for the next 14 ranks.
Playing BSM if there's a lot of Aggro or Shudderwock if there's a lot of Control (starting at rank 7).

I didn't plan to go for Legend last month, and I still made it by the skin of my teeth (Oct 27th).
Once again I'll likely won't push too hard at it, but when you start at Rank 4 it doesn't take much.
I'll likely stay with my Shudderwock list, I'm 400 dust away from crafting Hemet and am exited to see how it affects my win rate.
Have you tried this mech paladin list? Is it any good? I'm really interested in crafting it but I'm kinda skeptical.

Reached rank 5 with a pretty standard Even Shaman deck. Wondering how many druids I’ll be facing now.. :(
"Hey. Hey. Do you wanna buy a funnel cake?" Undercity Huckster
too bad I don't play warrior :( but deck seems interesting

Flamewaker is my all-time favorite card!
Trying some Mecha'thun Priest, because I had facing Shudderwock Shaman and Odd Warrior.

Congrats! :) can you maybe post your deck??
