Is this card still worth crafting?

Only if you plan on playing a Mage deck that consistently plays a LOT of stuff and thus runs out of steam quickly, like Secret Mage. 

I was having doubts whether to craft it or not but I went for it. The card is really good in secret Mage even if new cards were added to replace this one. It is still worth crafting it. Thanks for the reply. 

I love my rod, it's big and full of spells. Some times, althought, it is painfull the the game goes too long.

Insanely powerful. One of the strongest cards ever printed for sure.

I like this deck because it creates a flavor of "Power overwhelming mage" either you kill your opponent or die to fatigue.

The downside is that in some matchups (Warlock primarly) it just comes down to Aluneth on six or lose.

Because Mediv is rotate out now, i just hope that mage got another weapon on this witchwood set!! or any minion that can STOP this aluneth from burning my card or it will be unplayable!!

Sounds kinda dumb, but 5 mana, but making it only draw 2 cards seems a lot less self destructive.
