Grandmasters 2022 Season 1 - Week 3: Last Hero Standing - Results & Decklists!

This weekend the Grandmasters 2022 Season 1 saw its third week, with all matches being played in the Last Hero Standing format this week! This was the final week of the regular season, before this truncated season ends with the Playoffs, which is another week of Conquest!

This week was played in the the Last Hero Standing format, which means players bring 4 Class decks, and get one banned by their opponent. They start the first game on the deck they prefer and the winner of that first game has to stay on that deck, while the loser no longer can use the deck they lost with. The series then continues with both players having to either stay on their deck if they win, or move to a new deck if they lose, until one of them has run out of decks to play. This effectively makes this a Best of 5 Series.

Unfortunately the GM Broadcast did not show an image with who ended up in what spot for the Americas Region, nor did they give clear and definitive indication of who ended up where. The only things that were confirmed are that Fled and DimitriKazov ended up as the Top 2, who have a 1 win advantage in the Playoffs in 2 weeks, and that Pascoa, Pun and Fr0zen made Top 8.
