Cariel had pledged her honor to the Alliance, but when someone matching her long-lost sister's description was sighted at the Crossroads, Cariel did the unthinkable: she abandoned her post and set out across the Barrens.

I dont think paladin have access to any other spell type so its a 1 mana discount to all spells in hand each swing, in addition to being a stickier Fishy Flyer
Except that not all spells have a type. Seems like a solid card regardless

Decent. Definitely not broken. I think it will become a staple in Midrange-Control Paladin decks.
This card is super good
Can we talk about how weak the art is in this expansion?
Agreed. Very stylized, illustrative. Toy-like even. Remember those old, shareware, indie games with bland-looking and generic artwork splashed onto the cover, usually featuring characters and environments that are not even remotely in the game and were sold for dirt cheap? The old GPUs had similar artworks on their boxes, too. The art style reminds me of those cover arts.
None of this is to discredit the artistic style and vision of respective artists, but they are definitely not my cup of coffee and, in my opinion, look paler, undefined and more pastel in comparison to other sets (excluding Descent of Dragons).
Again, my opinion, so feel free to be offended. I cannot create any artwork half as good as these, but that's not my expertise anyway.
Great analysis you are exactly right
Your not wrong, but I think for the mercenary legendries they might of done this intentionally. Back when Barrens had been announced they had said the mercenaries are gonna stay around for the entire year, and there have been some people saying that these legendries look like the WOW class right before they started getting decent armor and weapons and looked rather dull. These characters might used for one of their class legendries for each release this year and look better with each release. So the next release might be mid level and look better and the last release might have them maxed out and look awesome. This is all theory though, so who knows for later though.
Paladin mostly. Probably for the paladin artist. It's too washed out like oldschool textbooks and not as dynamic as the others.
I think they cut budget and reused the 'cloud background' and just panned it to make varied background.
What u think?
