Just coming back here to look at how many people over estimated this card to the ground and thought this was going to break the game. Literally one week into scholomance nobody played this card in any deck and now in darkmoon I forgot this card even existed, lol.
remember when everyone was crying calling this card op?
Came back only to find out about all the downvotes. Guess I was right after all, the card really isn't that special. I'd even say its below average. But I guess it's the easier way out to be a sheep and follow the opinion of the majority of the people.
100%
So we are complaining about suffle cards on deck. When not too long ago we have to deal with ways to burn enemy cards or decks
Or combos without counterplay. This is just a tech card, bad against aggro and midrange and good vs combo or control. Just wait a couple of weeks and we will see.
Now come and start hating and complaining about DH cuz yeah u dont like aggro decks or want the monk le deathknigth
U must undersand that as a new class have a lot of card disadvantage on standard or Wild, thats why he MUST have good cards (and cuz Blizzard wats mes players)
Comeptitive died long time ago, can u just enjoy a casual card game?
Great idea with reposition, but in my opinion, it would be better change Outcast to "Swap left and right-most card for Outcast card (in your hand)" ...just for keeping HS "simple"
Love that card design ! Bye borestone players !
Look at the responses the community has towards these cards blizzard. These are the people that are actually playing the game and this card just ruins the experience for so many players. Paladin is literally getting an 8 mana 3/12 rush. Whoopee. Dont leave too many good cards for him. Meanwhile dh is getting cards which either ruin your opponents hand or yoinks an important removal card out of your hand, along with getting information on the rest of your cards. Its as if blizzard is supporting this brainless face smashing meta, and its just such bullshit. Havent seen a single healing card besides that garbage druid minion. But even with healing, any control deck matching up with a dh might as well just auto concede with 2 glides in the opponents deck. Is that the kind of fun interactive gameplay you were hoping for, blizzard?
With introduction of Legends of Runeterra I have been playing both to test what is more fun and worth sticking to.
As you can see, Runeterra does not have massive shitty paywalls and a very generous card reward system, compared to Blizzard, which allows you to ACTUALLY JUST PLAY THE GAME. I played Hearthstone for 5 years and I still can not have the full collection, holy shit (I even pre-order every single time).
I played Runeterra since release and I have all cards in about a month when expansion is out. Design, minimum RNG and amazing card art. THIS is how the game must be made.
I just fully quit Hearthstone, it is not worth it anymore, especially when this retarded class Demon Hunter is getting such insane cards, making everything else unplayable.
I am honestly really happy. Before there was just no such good "chill" type of game to jump to. Now I do not need to spend hundreds of euros to enjoy the game to the fullest. I was never the "grind all day and bury your life to have cards" type of person. Like what the fuck, I must play Hearthstone 8 hours a day to get something that makes the game enjoyable? No game must have such insane amount of dedication to be enjoyable.
This is why Runeterra is better. Play 1 week, do quests (let's call it minimum dedication) and get card rewards every single week equal to 2 month of grinding and opening packs in Hearthstone.
My biggest issue with this card is that it's introducing hand destruction. There was overdraw, which in itself was a valid strategy, but no card that can just remove cards from your opponents hand. I'm afraid I do not like the direction this card is leading.
I feel like there is nothing more boring than watching your opponent play solitaire while you just ry to kill them before they assemble their combo. Hand disruption really helps shut down combo decks, but is really bad against aggro and not too good against midrange decks. Is it really a bad thing to add balanced interaction to the game?
Just to put it into to perspective, Sprint is a 7 mana card.
Good points you made. It appears that RNG is king with Blizzard. Cycling your opponent's hand would very likely be devastating, but at the same time it has potential to also bring up good cards to your opponent as well.
You know, I played since Naxxramas and with introduction of DH the game has gone to shit. Like what is this card? Who even comes up with this bullshit? Basically now control is obliterated and we must play aggro only and hit face till we win at turn 5? This feels like a heroic boss has been added as a class to play with other 9 normal classes. Deeply disappointed in this expansion. I mean, one day this would happen. Can't be playing Hearthstone forever with massive p2w walls. Before it was at least worth pre-ordering, as we can all agree, only for the hero. Now it seems it will be all aggro or tilt only. There is no more fun building, as DH stomps anything of lesser power levels. Like, there is no way to balance this card, it should have just not been printed at all.
Don't really know why I am even writing this. Probably because I am going miss the good times I spent in this game and on this site for years.
Un'goro has been the best times. Wishing nerves of steel for those who will deal with this. For now, goodbye.
I honestly am surprised, that the developers are taking these steps. From a business stand point they should know, that the money is in the control decks (it's called 'wallet warrior' for a reason). Everybody can drum up an aggro hunter deck for 2k dust but there were always two or three upper tier control decks for 10k dust to keep these decks in check. And people paid to have those super strong legendaries. I don't understand how they are willingly creating a meta, where control decks are at an even bigger disadvantage with a card like this. And not only are people not spending money on packs to get good cards or dust for expensive decks some are turning away from the game with no looking back, because aggro meta is just plain boring.
A card that completely obliterates the control?
Well fuck this game definitely not buying anything from this expansion and probably getting out of this game all together.
Even more outraging than divine favor which btw should have been nerfed years ago.
i mean there is a tons of anti agro cards nobody says anything
but when they release one anti control card everyone loses their mind
dont get me wrong i dont like when games end at turn 5-6
but also i dont like games last like 10-15 mins neither
Agro not supposed to counter control decks!
It can rush them down in early game, sure...
But cards like this is complete BS, the only tool control has is a viable hand and a lot of planning is involved in wisely dosing your removals and wisely drawing through your deck - because as soon as you're unable to deal with the threat, game is lost. This card ruins any possible planning.
Fucking RNG bullshit.
ok another crap meta
Seems like I'm the only one here who thinks this card is OK. Nothing too special.
