Cubelock will be nerfed by increasing the mana cost of Possessed Lackey
Spiteful Priest will remain in some form and become more of a high-roll deck, with the Old Gods gone from the 10-drops
Inner Fire Priest with Lady in White will be a top-tier deck, because it's strong even if the Lady isn't drawn
Big Spell Mage will be the best performing Mage archetype; Secret Mage will not survive the rotation, a minion-based Mage deck will be playable but not as strong as big spells
Warrior will be back in the Standard meta, with multiple decks
Dude Paladin will fall out of the Standard meta, both because of the cards it loses in the rotation and because Warrior's whirlwind effects wreck its dudes and its shields; there will be another aggro Paladin deck to replace it though
Genn Greymane will be tried a lot, but not result in any top tier decks
Baku the Mooneater will be tried even more, resulting in one or two meta decks
the only worgen card that will see any play is Gilnean Royal Guard, in fringe decks
Hagatha the Witch will not be good, Shudderwock will be good when you play it, but often you'll not have enough time to setup for it and draw it
strongest Standard classes will be Warlock and Priest, weakest Rogue and Shaman
a lot more Witchwood cards will find a place in Wild than in Standard
Cubelock's nerf will come through Dark Pact. Blizzard will nerf it hard enough to kill the card. Ratcatcher and Dark Possession will become substitutes. This will weaken Cubelock's healing ability and change it to a mostly combo deck that does not have the health to maintain late game viability. This will be enough to lower it to T2 but folks will still whine about it.
Shudderwock isnt that good its a very complex deck that can easily be countered with Dirty Rat, so if sudderwock becomes popular the rats will become popular too. Mage quest still an otk and people doesnt play it too much.
Bold prediction: This will be one of the first metas without an aggro deck. This will be a control meta that is revolved around value. You heard it here first folks.

"I realized life is this crazy, mystical thing, and sometimes you just go out like a buster."
I'll just go simple and not overextend things, ill just speak till the start of the next expansion.
Control Warlock and not Cubelock is going to destroy every attemp to make a board centric deck, like Rush for example.Until Warlock gets nerfed ,Rush will be complete garbage just because of a singe class..
Shaman is the Warlock killer with hexes and Shudder. But the Warlock can still beat easily the other 7 classes.
People are hyping Elemental mage,it wont happen.Mage was never good at midrange tactics. It was always tempo/aggro or Ice block oriented.Ice block is gone.
Rush Warrior?What joke is this?
Rush Paladin?HA HA
Spell Hunter will still be good,it got a couple decent spells.
And i hope i will be wrong about this one because i want it to work, but Taunt warrior will be bad.
Lady in white??It doesnt matter if you have 30/30's on the board, they still can't pass void lords..Or twisting nethers,or siphon souls,or anything..Just trash all around, and too slow against aggro.
Most of the odd/even decks in standard format will still be sub par and never out value control lock or survive against cube lock. However, people will still keep playing them just to have something different to play for a few months.
If rogue actually still ends up being a part of the standard meta it will only be because of Kingsbane Rogue or a form of Miracle Rogue, the other cards they were given (especially Face Collector) will not produce a legitimate tier deck.
Rush/Tempo Warrior will end up better than expected, but will still generally be unfavored against control and cube lock.
Warlock will have Dark Pact nerfed to 2 mana (or even 3 knowing Blizzard nerfs) and/or DK hero power will be nerfed a little (to 2 damage).
Big Priest will also still be a thing, even with with it losing Barnes & Y'Shaarj. It will function exactly like Big Priest match-ups where the priest player did not draw Barnes or hit Y'Shaarj with its spells.
People will be sad that Shudderwock OTK won't exist since the order and target of the battlecries are random (Unless I'm missing something, Grumble breaks the combo guys, like its effect is similar to pre-nerf yogg)
I think a few people have brought it up, but I think tempo priest featuring Lady in White will be tier 1 (bold prediction) or tier 2 (not quite so bold, more reasonable). Just think tempo rogue with Prince Keleseth. Hell tempo priest could even bring back Corridor Creeper (I know not as strong because you don't want it in opening hand, but still).
I think there will be both a spell tempo priest and a spiteful tempo priest, both competitive.
I'll try to think of more later.

Rush warrior, aka Tempo Warrior, will emerge as the dominant warrior archetype, capitalizing on one of the best cards Blizzard has ever printed, the Town Crier, utilizing rush minions and the outer shell of the former pirate warrior archetype (minus the pirates).
Lady in White will be too inconsistent and will be tried out for a couple of days before being dusted. Lord Godfrey [/card] will see experimentation in Cubelock and Control Warlock before it's cut for more consistent AOE and relegated to unplayabilty. Everyone will try out the [card]Shudderwock OTK before they realize that it triggers the Battlecries RANDOMLY.
1) We will see a return of Keleseth Rogue, but it will look way different and it will be a tier 3/4 deck.
2) Dire Frenzy Hunter will fall flat, but not because the card isn't powerful. It will see play in a tournament when Warlock can be banned and then that list will flood the meta for a week before settling in tier 3.
3) Zoolock will finally go away for an entire expansion, but mage and paladin will make up for the slack.
4) Shudderwock OTK will not be consistent enough, but a Shudderwock control deck will still be high tier 2.
5) Master Oakheart will find a home in this meta as another way to cheat out valuable cards.
6) Spiteful warrior will be a surprise hit in the meta.
7) Spiteful Priest will fall to low tier 2 or high tier 3 without as consistent a package of minions to play around with.
1) Spiteful Summoner will reach new levels of broken. Priest will continue to abuse it and it will be the best deck to ladder.
2) I think an OTK deck with Shudderwock is a bit too complicated to pull off. It will simply be used as yet another board filler to close out the game or force AoE from the opponent. Shudderwock will help bring Shaman back to its feet but it will be Hagatha that will make the class shine.
3) Paladin will have a tier 1 tempo deck, potentially based on dragons.
4) Rogue won't be dead. Tempo rogue will survive, it always does due to the broken basic set cards.
5) Hand druid will be better than expected. Dropping big guy after big guy into UI turns out to be pretty annoying. Druid still has no way to deal with cube lock tho...
Dollmaster Dorian should see play in Quest Priest if people realize the value they can get out of it.
No one is gonna play thief rouge in standard now that Burgle, Swashburgler, and pretty much every thief card is rotating/rotated.
Paragon of Light is a good paladin card, even with the some of the handbuff stuff rotating (it's almost like we got a new +1/+2 buff in this expansion, *COUGHSOUNDTHEBELLSCOUGH*)
Toki memes decks will become a thing, which will eventually lead to some sort of "Wild (Casino?) Mage" that rarely sees play.
Voodoo Doll is gonna be everywhere, and it is definitely going to weaken Cubelock.
Lastly, I don't think Shudderwock is that good. The combos people are coming up with are stupidly lengthy and overcomplicated (yes, I know some are memes, but this applies to the actual ones too), which means that they're RARELY gonna work.
I enjoy.
No brain - no pain.
Prediction: Shudderwock decks don't end up being as good as people think in Standard but in Wild Control Shaman with Shudderwock rockets to tier 1.

I'm going to say that a Baku deck will hit tier 1, it will either be warrior or hunter.
Warlock is over hyped but if it is nerfed, it will be nerfed within a month.
Genn will see some experimentation but will fall to the wayside as people realize a one mana hero power isn't worth building your deck around.
Tess is drastically over rated, but rogue comes into tier 1 or 2 anyways.
Mage popularity falls of the map and struggles to find it's identity all expansion.
Priest starts slow but it is the sleeper class of the set and will emerge with a tier 1 deck sooner or later.
Paladin gets by and it's winrate will be amazing on VS but not feel amazing while you play it.
Rush warrior, aka Tempo Warrior, will emerge as the dominant warrior archetype, capitalizing on one of the best cards Blizzard has ever printed, the Town Crier, utilizing rush minions and the outer shell of the former pirate warrior archetype (minus the pirates).

My prediction:
Dark Possession is actually a bad card and it won't see any play outside of experimentation with the first few days.
