Also I hate wild because...it's just lame and I don't like it lol.  Yet another reason I don't regret my decision one bit.

Many Wild players would replace the Wild at the start there with Standard...I mean facing the exact same Odd Paladins and Wall Priests is fun for you obviously, but it is by definition lame...both formats have lameness, the Standard lameness becomes infinitely duller quicker...Wild has too many options to be lame in the long term.

Yeah I agree completely.  I know it's completely up to how each person feels about wild haha.  I know it sounds strange, but I enjoy "knowing" what I'm up against in standard.  Makes everything feel more fair (since my opponents naturally know what I'm playing as well).  Again, I know the exact opposite argument could be used to show why Wild is better.

Another option for the OP is, disenchant as you go or as you need.  You don't have to disenchant everything all at once.  I still have a couple wild legendaries "just in case" (like Aya Blackpaw so that I can play jade again if I want haha).  Some cards can just be disenchanted without question.

posted a message on Should I disenchant wild cards?

I dusted my wild cards when I first came back (about a year and a half ago now).  I never regretted it even for a second.  The ONE AND ONLY time that it kinda sucked was unlocking Arthas in the Knights of the Frozen Throne single player content.  But that was just single player content, big effin deal haha.  And I figured it all out anyways.

I would have given up on the game like a week in if I had to start completely from scratch in standard. Instead I got about 15 months of very solid gaming in.  People always talk about return on investment sucking if you keep disenchanting.  Well, in my case, it looks like I multiplied that investment by a huge amount.

Also I hate wild because...it's just lame and I don't like it lol.  Yet another reason I don't regret my decision one bit.

posted a message on Stop the "pay-to-win" complaints

I paid money when I was getting back into it.  Preordered KOTFT and every expansion after that, up to Rastakhan's Rumble.  I did make legend (thank god), but I still don't think it's pay to win.  The correct term should be "pay to have (more) fun" haha.  I would have quit way earlier if I didn't have the collection to play a bunch of different decks.  I'd probably blow my brains out if I had to play nothing but zoolock for a year straight.

Just ignore the people who complain about spending money in order to have fun.  I don't know why they can't see it this way, but I've given up trying to tell them that spending $100-200 on a game you will spend hundreds of hours on is worth it lol.

I'm a bit late, but pleeaaase not this again. For the love of god there's no added value to playing with skins.

posted a message on This expansion needs to be deck defining and interesting

I feel like this expansion will be extremely deck defining.  Mainly because of what is rotating out.

No more death knights or huge tools from that year of the mammoth.  No more Genn and Baku.  There won't be insane decks suffocating other decks out of the meta (I admit I haven't played too much at all the last half year or so, and I think the meta might have actually been decent lately).

It is strange that they rotate Genn and Baku out so quickly, but it is going to help open up the meta in a huge way.  I have very tempered expectations with this, because I have had next to no interest in Hearthstone the past while haha, but it might be nice to play once all the insane power cards rotate out.  Obviously other crazy powerful decks will come up, but it should be exciting.

posted a message on I'm not a fan of these teasers

Honestly, yes, I feel the same way haha.  Granted my interest in Hearthstone as a whole has been fading in recent months.  But teaser after teaser after teaser after teaser... God it's annoying.

I'm too nervous to make a thread about it though.  People are always quick to attack others with opinions lol.

posted a message on Do you even Track, bruh?

My initial post about Tracking being bad was more in line with Deathrattle and Recruit Hunter. It's obviously bad to average in spell hunter, especially if you're playing Zul'jin (which you most likely are).  The argument about the cards being on the bottom is invalid, especially in the case of recruit hunter.  You are completely losing cards that you could have otherwise recruited.  It makes Kathrena a dead card later in the game for deathrattle hunter. It even makes Oondasta worse later on if you keep discarding good cards (granted you might want to even take the King Krush with an early Tracking if you're playing Oondasta).  And people brought up not playing it against an odd warrior. So in that case it's a pretty much completely dead card unless you're desperate.  I would much rather use a more versatile card in the deck.

I think the only deck that Tracking really works in is a standard, run of the mill midrange hunter.  Anyways, it's probably best to just use your own judgment with the card. I personally hate it, and I've had a ton of success omitting it from my decks. Do I not know how to use it? Even if we assume not, I win without it, so screw all y'all haha.

posted a message on [Guide] Miracle Priest

Is there any way to fit Dragon Soul into this? I got that card a while back and I really want it to work haha, but I've lost hope long ago.  I guess a Circle of Healing could be dropped, but the low cost spell kinda makes the deck go round.

posted a message on Do you even Track, bruh?

I've lost too many good cards with Tracking, especially vs some other super slow deck (Boomsday odd warrior comes to mind).  I just hate the card so much haha.  I thought I was alone in that opinion.

I made legend back in September or something with a deathrattle hunter that did not use a single Tracking.  In my opinion, Flare or Wing Blast are much better. I'll just continue thinking that lol.

I got King Togwaggle and Azalina Soulthief.  Guess I need to join the Mill Druid population lol.  I hate this.

Also got Swamp King Dred. I play lots of recruit hunter and I think he's a solid addition, but was never worth crafting. No complaints from me.

posted a message on Upcoming Hearthstone Balance Changes - Wild Growth, Nourish, Level Up!, Saronite Chain Gang, Leeching Poison

Their main Prince Keleseth deck so far has been Spiteful Druid. But you don't want a 3 mana spell in spiteful decks haha.

I think the main reason they changed both is they still want odd druid to be a thing, and they wanted odd druid to still have access to ramp.

posted a message on Upcoming Hearthstone Balance Changes - Wild Growth, Nourish, Level Up!, Saronite Chain Gang, Leeching Poison

Holy crap, I was not expecting this at all. So Saronite Chain Gang will just summon a vanilla 2/3 taunt body now right? No matter what hand buffs he might have?  I don't like this very much at all, but you might still be able to play some ridiculous evolve/bloodlust combo with non-stop Chain Gangs at the end of a game.  Although it's obviously much less consistent.  It's too bad this doesn't give Shudderwock a full dust refund haha =P kappa.

The Leeching Poison nerf comes at a perfect time. I was about to cave and join the Kingsbane group of players lol, but now I can stick to my other decks (mostly priest and hunter, both of which come out of this completely unscathed).

posted a message on Who's the Most Known User?

This thread actually feels very wholesome haha.  I like it.  Nobody is bad mouthing any of these top people, just good ol wholesome conversation.  And it's cool to see a bunch of memorable names showing up in here in general.  I've seen Kovachut around a lot too, and I feel bad I didn't honorably mention him in my first post.

Maybe one day I can reach this pedestal level lol.  That's the dream.

I haven't had the opportunity to check it yet, but how does Da Undatakah interact with Carnivorous Cube? I see them in lots of decks together.  If you cube, say, Hadronox, does Undatakah later get the cube's deathrattle with Hadronox inside?
