Cinematic Trailer
It is glorious.
"One wing will release per week" - that means on august 11th we'll recive only the free wing, the prologue?
idk, that's why i'm asking.
To all those angry about the Priest cards (which includes me to some extent), it could have been a lot worse.
With Onyx Bishop, Resurrect Priest could be really strong. Dragon Priest got some love with Book Wyrm and Netherspite Historian. The only thing that's missing is strong mass removal, which Priest as a control class sorely lacks.
No. It really couldn't have been much worse. They literally made 3 more 1-6 rating cards on a scale of 10. Leaving priest exactly where it was as ninth on ladder. They fucked up big time.
Purify is crap and Priest of the Feast mediocre, but Onyx Bishop has amazing potential. If Purify was a mass removal instead I would've been happy.
Onyx Bishop is mediocre. It doesn't have amazing potential in any viable form of a build.
None that we've seen so far, Priests need to have a little faith ;)
Silence all minions for 2 mana maybe?
Honestly, I think they should just leave Silence Priest be for now and focus on bolstering the AoE of the class. Warrior, Paladin and Warlock have complete board wipes, but Priest doesn't, it disappointing to say the least.
I'm normally pretty positive and keep playing Priest even when it's not on top, but this is ridiculous. Even a mass removal as mediocre as Shadow Word: Horror would've been better than this. It's hard for me to fathom how Blizzard failed to predict that much of the community would take Purify as a big middle finger. I understand that they don't want to just design around the hobbyhorses and gripes of the community; there's too much vitriol, too much contradiction. I get it. But this seems like it goes out of its way to specifically go against what most of the community says it wants, and when they try to defend it they end up sounding incredibly insincere. If they really, really wanted to try out this gimmick card, they should've at least made it zero mana, as Kripparian argued. Most cards that benefit from being silenced are undercosted to make up for it -- when you add 2 more mana and another card to silence it, you completely negate the one advantage that undercosted cards have.
Comparing it to League of Explorers legendaries , these are very disappointing except maybe Medivh, the Guardian .
Seriously.... Moroes ?!? What is this crap?
How in the hell is a slow ass card like Medivh good? The Curator is very useful as well. You just don't know what you're talking about
Moroes + Stedward of Darkshire???
Blizzard made a really mean Preank realeaseing fake shitty priest cards! The 7-mana 2/4 girl will be a broken - 7-mana 2/4 broken -
priest card, along 2 other cards that will save the class!
meme dream with perfect rng: start game with deathwing, barnes, moat lurker, innervate. innervate out barnes on turn 2, barnes brings out deathwing dragonlord. draw deathwing dragonlord on turn three then coin innervate out moat lurker. 2 deathwings come out on turn 3. kill off moat lurker for 3 deathwing combo on turn 4. game over...
They could do a whole new expansion with the Karazhan idea!
Medivh, The Pimp - Summon two 2/2 Hot Chicks (If your enemy already has Medivh, The Pimp on the board, he will summon the Chicks)
Jaraxxus, Lord of the Dancefloor - Cast a random Dancefloor Secret (Dance trick - Gain control of the next minion your opponent plays, Rule the dancefloor - After your opponent uses his Hero Power, summon a 5/5 Spirit of Disco, Free Drink - Next minion you summon gains +3/+3)
Reno Jackson, Explorer of the jacuzzi -Cast Bath Time! (Your minions gain +1/+1, +2/+2, -1/+2 or -2+2 (Randomly))
These are my ideas :D
I don't think Priest got left out. Netherspite Historian might be a great fit in Dragon Priest.
I tried to play priest but it want work R.I.P my friend hearthstone designing team gave you a tow mana silence a friendly minion T_T
Violet Illusionist + Fool's Bane powercreep
