For anyone considering, this card isn't worth crafting. It will never get discarded.
These little fucks got EXTRA fucking stubborn in Un'Goro. They never wanna get discarded. EVER. You have 3 cards in your hand, two of them silverware? THOSE FUCKS ARE NOT GETTING DISCARDED.
If this was shaman, they'd get discarded every... fucking... time.

This is a Doomguard summoning two Silverware Golems. 5 Mana for 11/13 stats, sounds game winning to me.
No photoshop at all. Why would this not be possible?
Uh what? Doomguard discards two cards. If you have two Silverware Golems in your hand, it has a chance of discarding both of them, summoning both.
I discarded this card during the Warlock class challenge for this expansion and instead of summoning it the minion simply was just discarded. The minion was not placed on the board. *Poof!* Gone!
Also I do not see discard warlock being viable until they add a card that allows you to choose what cards you discard when you play the card that triggers the effect. I want this type of deck to work because it seems so fun, but something this RNG heavy will take a lot to be viable.
This card needs a base mana nerf. Make this card a 5 mana 3/3 and I'm fine with it.
The problem is not with it's discard-summon effect (which is admittedly powerful but (barely) justified). The true problem of it lies on the fact that you do not get punished at all by having this card in your deck, and people can simply play this card in mid game as a normal minion to add on to the insane tempo of discard decks.
Ok so I just played this new warlock challenge. I had 2 Silverware Golem in my hand and a Soulfire. After playing Soulfire and discarding a Silverware Golem it wasn't summoned. What am I missing here?
Works fine with Soulfire too, as well as countless other discard cards. But discard decks will still never be good.

Not quite. All the discard minions have good stats and or abilities. Likewise all the spells that discard are very powerful for the mana. Cards like Tiny Knight, Fists, and Silverware Golem can really give you a tempo swing. It can be a gamble at times but if you are not willing to take chances discard and probably the warlock class is not for you.
We are gonna need a hell of a lot more cards to make a discard Warlock any good, and certainly to make it better than zoo, which keeps getting better. Thing is, a 3/3 is the card I am happy to discard, it is when I discard my councilman that I get annoyed.

The concept that the devs are going for in trying to make discard Warlock a thing is what makes Hearthstone great. The game is maturing but that doesn't hinder the developer's ability of creating new and refreshing ideas/mechanics. That being said the concern is whether or not there are enough cards available to make a discard deck work. Still extremely fun and exciting, but more importantly a start. A push in the right direction of making a Warlock archetype that if executed properly and finalized could lead to the creation of some of the most fun, technical, rewarding and even competitive Warlock decks to date. Hats off Blizzard.
