I'm not hyped but to be fair: I got huge hype for MSoG and KotFT but had no hype for Un'Goro so that's probably a good sign seeing as I apparently only get hyped for garbage metas these days.
More losses as Hunter to warlock and priest, nope, not really a fan, since playing indulgent control really doesn't float my boat. I figure they can keep their cards and I'll keep my $50.

Hyped. Looking forward to new cards and rotation. The naysayers are lying. The only reason they talk trash is because they are sad their quest mage or their Drakonid Operative are no longer. Can't wait until I don't see Priest or Warlock clogging up the meta.
I love how Baku and Genn are going to multiply deck recipes by 3. Even without much support from other cards, people are going to figure out cool ways to use those cards to create awesome decks for every class. And just the idea of having and “un-set” meta for longer than usual is fun to me.
I think players are going to expend way more time experimenting the different combinations with the new cards than in previous expansions.
Cherry on top, I hate aggro decks! And both Echo and Rush seem to tackle aggro decks and promote control. So I’m all up for that ^^
I'm just really disappointed by the druid cards. I wanted a lot of spooky treant synergy, and we got barely any, plus one of the worst legendaries ever printed.
For fun meme and combo decks it hypes me a bit, but from a competitive standpoint I am not hyped. Warlock gets more good control cards (surprise surprise) and priest gets more copy themed cards (again, big surprise). Rogue mostly gets garbage Freeze Shaman level of deck building experiments for funsies that stand no chance to out value locks or priests, and shaman gets boring rng innkeeper clown fiesta cards that can never be consistent competitively.
OT: I wouldn't make assumptions that secret/burn mage is out of the meta quite yet. Ice Block didn't make the hyper aggressive deck work. All of the secret reduction and burn spells that got reloaded by Aluneth made it work. Although losing Fireland's Portal does stand a bigger chance of affecting the deck's burn reach. Same goes for Big Priest. Big Priest will now basically always act as if the priest did not draw Barnes by turn 3/4. They still have tons of removal/stall and can still cheese out big minions by turn 5/6 and can still rez them multiple times.
honestly, im not that hype. but i know as soon as i find a new deck thats fun to play ill be all into it. this expansion feels like theres alot more than meets the eye with the synergies and card rotations. and judging it right now is pulling the trigger early

I have the complete opposite feeling about rush. Sure they have pretty much removed everything charge related and replaced it with rush (this expansions cards that is). But as it looks right now, paladins are going to continue with dude possibly with a couple of more cards that makes it even more problematic to stop early than before. Warrior seem to be pushed both in the tempo/aggro direction and with heavy control tools. Cubelock is almost unaffected and are certain to stay as is.
As far as I'm concerned the only 2 problematic things going away is the ds/if dragon priest and secret mage, the rest is going to be the same or perhaps even more aggro than before.
I like that they did try to make some new things such as odd/even and echo, but honestly I don't think it is going to be enough. Unless these new decks are getting tools against aggro they are never going to flourish, as it has been every expansion the game has ever had.

The odd/even decks don't only have to worry about needing anti-aggro tools they also need way better value generation and more answers to compete with warlock. Cube and Control Locks have access to a 3 damage removal tool every single turn via Gul'Dan. How can most other control decks compete against a class that has more or less unlimited removal in the late game?
There are a couple of cards that excite me. But at this point I'm more excited for the rotation so we can say goodbye to a couple of cards. I'm still hopeful for cool shaman spells, control paladin support, treant druid cards and stuff that could open up new archetypes.
Nope, this looks quite probably 1st expansion that I am not going to pre-purchase. There are only few interesting cards revealed so far and not that many to go. Might aswell use dust to craft the cards that I want and do not get from packs that I will get with saved gold.
Priest is loosing lot of their key cards with this release, just have to see whether there will be some sort of working Priest deck in upcoming meta. I think that cubelock will become even more dominant with this release, might switch from priest to warlock myself too...
Nope. All cards look bad and boring. I just wait the rotation to finally see the "new" meta and the real new possible decks
Pretty hyped by the cards. Nothing crazy and some might spawn new archetypes and reduce the power level.

I like it. Not sure what all the hate is for. Anything will be better than KaC...

Not for the new cards, but for a new meta.
I'm sorry for my bad english :v
No, as Rogue player i'm disappointing.

Pretty boring expansion overall, which is not a good thing since it is the first expansion after rotation.
Losing a lot, not gaining much.
But actually, that's precisely what i'm excited about, I really want decks to become weaker (even tho Cubelock will still be OP).

Yeah, I'm hyped. I'm really looking forward to a change in the meta and the new creative ideas coming in the new set
