Witchwood is simply terrible. There I said it. Terrible.
Ok, not terrible. Just lacking in any excitement whatsoever. It's the McDonalds hamburger of the fast food world. Yeah, there is meat and bread and some condiments but if you can eat ANYWHERE else you do so.

That's how I feel about posts like these. I could get salty whining anywhere.
whatever we say Blizz fan boys will continue to defend Blizzard like they own the company so Blizzard won't do shit to fix the game which we used to love once.
If you have already invested your time (& money) into the game, youre not doing yourself any good by avoiding the ranked ladder. I have been climbing to ranks I have never hit since the expansion came out, and I would agree with the OP but we no longer drop to rank 20 anymore so I don't have to worry about losing my hard work. If it was the case that I dropped, yeah sure I would avoid it, but its really not that bad
I climbed to 15 with some brain-dead deck and now playing some memes. But I've left ladder a long time ago. Sometimes it's just nice seeing your homebrew get to rank 13... and then back to 15 :D But it doesn't matter. I don't get it how people can have any fun from playing curve decks. It's basically like watching streams but much worse... The game plays itself but now you actually have to click, hold and drag. Wow...
You're not missing anything - it's all Warlocks and Paladins. Just hit Legend for the first time ever with a Priest deck I made to counter them. Felt good.

Take it into your own hands to have some more fun. I've been playing odd rush control warrior, tempo elemental keleseth shaman with shudderwock, quest paladin, tempo recruit hunter, even shaman, and taunt druid almost exclusively for the past two weeks. All witchwood enabled archteypes. Some of them are janky, some of them are more refined and deemed cancerous (see: taunt druid, any deck with shudderwock, endlessly piling on armour and removal with odd warrior), but it seems there will always be someone who complains about what you're playing. Ignore that and do for yourself what is fun and new, not just replaying old archetypes for months on end just because they're the best decks.

Anyone else just abandoned the ladder this month?
I too have played very little ladder this month. Maybe 15 games combined in Standard and Wild. The metagame has been KnC 2.0, and I already did that. I'm very much looking forward to the balance patch.
Yeah pretty much the same here OP. I get on do my dailies and hop off. Been floating between rank 9 and 10 all month. Still haven't even finished the all of the quests with the monster battles. Still need to do the last one. The games just gotten boring.

This has nothing to do with being a fanboy. Saying this just makes you sound retarded, that's the argument from the dumbest of the dumb.
Even though I also heavily dislike the situation in hearthstone right now there are people that enjoy playing those meta decks right now. Ever thought about that?
OP should consider becoming a vegan. It would improve his dour outlook on life.
What type of vegan are we talking about? The good kind or the bad kind? :3

Dead but dreaming
Yea we’ve seen these threads already take it to the salt thread

The game I haven't played is boring.
I only share the hate on Quest Rogue. Besides that I enjoy the ladder a lot this month.

game sucks when people are lemmings and only play two classes.
Why is there always at least one thread in the popular/recent stuff of somebody who can't figure out the way to the salt thread?
If this meta is so insufferable, we'll see you in August. Kay? Kay. Bye!
A never-Legend Dad who keeps making rank 2 or 1, but then sliding.
Rumbling around Gurubashi Arena. Shirvallah is the best loa. Go Tigers!
