I don't see a ton of removal for early game aggression and I hate Sprint because it's basically a two-card combo. I'd ditch the Mechanical Whelps and Keleseth for some Loot Hoarders and Sap.
I really hope Academic Espionage is nerf worthy. It looks like like utter trash. Most class cards are garbage and this will pollute your deck with shit and thin out any draws you've put in your deck to actually take advantage of the tempo discount.
Looks good. I feel like it needs a little more cheap Deathrattle to really hit refinement and maybe a little different draw, but you've got a winner here.
It will play into earlier draw and Deathrattle synergy on curve with less mana and help your early game against Agro. Those cards are still cheap enough to enable Combo and don't require multiple pieces in hand. Helps Necrium Blade on curve, and gives more options in general. It also relegates Prep to a Necriun Vial activator.
You need more draw for Academic Espionage to have any value. Add another minstrel. Don't play a single at-cost enemy minion. Don't play Blink Fox, play Tar Creeper. Add another Sap, two Fan of Knives, maybe even a shiv or two and a Thalnos, if not two Loot Hoarders.
You need to make up in tempo what most of your opponent's class cards cost you in being total garbage.
With the amount of draw, ramp, discount, and combo posed for the next expansion, what will emerge as a counter? How can the class be stopped?
Are combo disruptors like Gnomeferatu & Demonic Project going to luck you into a victory, or will alternate win conditions be compensated for within a deck in the Druidsday Project?
Will Agro reign supreme in a race to unseat Druids prepping a combo?
Will the tempo Mech decks amount to anything more than novelties given Druid's more surefire - and faster - paths to victory?
Even if you're not playing Malygos Combo, just Big Druid or Taunt Druid, this card is an auto-include. Because of Ramp, the 4/4 will probably be larger than your opponent's minions if you play it on (Ramp) curve, and even Agro will trade into it. Such broken card design. Glad I didn't pre-order Druidsday Project.
You're not missing anything - it's all Warlocks and Paladins. Just hit Legend for the first time ever with a Priest deck I made to counter them. Felt good.
Just stick to rank 15 where most of the memes and homebrews are. Farming ladder has nothing to do with fun.
And just throw away the false feeling of accomplishment... if you have any while climbing.
People need to start realizing that everyone has a different way to enjoy hearthstone. A friend of mine plays HS just like that. He sticks around the rank 18-15 mark, never playing more than 2 games with the same deck, and boasting about building this "awesome" homebrew deck to me every single time we talk about HS. I have tried playing the game like that, and in fact I still do it from time to time when I need a break from the norm. But I actually get bored of playing like that way faster than actually playing the game semi-competitively.
This comes from the fact that people assume that "building decks" is the only fun component present in hearthstone. It's not. Actually learning how to pilot decks and learning how to play each match up/generally improving at the game is just as big of a fun factor as playing the game "purely for deck building". I would argue that playing a grueling, 20 minute control mirror against another good player takes much more skill than making it to rank 10 with pirate mage.
The bottom line is that people enjoy different things about the game, and that is totally fine. But that doesn't suddenly give you the right to belittle people who choose to enjoy the game in a different way than yourself.
Yeah. A lot of posters are clearly venting their frustrations with the game (or elsewhere) and judging any deviation in goal, playstyle, or enjoyment that isn't their own. My main pleasure with the game is judging the meta and building decks that spite it (Warlock and Paladin at present).

-2 Cheap Shot, +2 Sudden Betrayal
Opponents will always read this as an Evasion and swing with big minions, great against Agro. Plus Cheap Shot is pure garbage.

This deck is such a clunky mess. And why are there two Leeching Poisons?

-1 Scalebane, +1 Thalnos. More early draw, spell damage psych-out.

Will this coming meta be the least-diverse yet?

The Storm Bringer (7 Mana) Transform your minions into randoms far, far worse than anything Druid is playing.

They need a Druid Operative card: Destroy a Druid.

It absolutely is. At a point where we should see more creativity than ever before, it's all Paladins and Warlocks playing the same shit.
