Looks interesting. Wouldn't you want Arcane shots though as well? Not sure what would be taken out but I feel like Arcane shots are the best face damage....although I guess Ricochet shot is bout the same.
This deck is not a Nath Deck. This is a beast deck that focuses mostly on Shadehound to buff the board. Shadehound requires beasts to die hence the heavy usage of beasts. Nath is only in there as a contingency for an extra Bear or Sinrunner for removal :)
I honestly cant think of how to even use this spellstone now. I must be just bad at deck building....
Right now in the meta if I can spell stone by 5 which probably happens 2 out of every 4-5 matches if i'm lucky, then my opponent can usually clear the board making it useless anyways.
However with them changing it to 6 mana it now means Its more likely to be cleared by the time i play it. The only solution i can see is to try creating an even hunter deck but no matter what cards i put together nothing looks that good at all..
It ends up with the deck having FAR too many 2 drops and since its hunter there is zero card draw.
So i honestly dont see any good hunter decks when this change happens. I feel like this will end up sending hunters back into the dark ages where they have always been. I'll keep looking at the cards and see if i can figure out ANY good deck builds besides going the deathrattle route...
PS: With it being an even hunter that means you cant use Master's Call for card draw.... As well as Hunters mark being 2 mana means that it can be in even decks now however the Bow is 1 mana so wtf is the use of that? Huntersmark is pretty useless from what i can tell in an even deck.
Curious to see if anyone has any ideas on viable post nerf decks. Let me know cuz Hunters always been my main and i already know when Rexxar rotates out hunters will be in a bad state again depending what the next expansion gives us.
Okay, i used to love the old recruit hunter, but at rank 5 i decided to see if this version of it would bring it back for me... I have lost 5 matches in a row so far...
Not sure if im all of a sudden playing hunter poorly and since its my main I dont think thats exactly it. But this deck is way to slow for the current meta from what i'm seeing. I'm actually regretting spending 1600 dust on mojomaster since he is literally only to counter Mechathun decks with i run into maybe 1 percent of the time lol.
Idk imma try a few more matches before going back to my secret/beast mid range hunter.
You don't have any creatures with high health to get fully healed from ancestral healing, replace it with Zap! and your deck would look great! Also, you have many two cost minions, I would suggest you try out Fire Elemental for good body minion on your board.
Good deck anyway, I love Totem Cruncher too.
Fair point, i was thinking of trying to include Zap! ... Also after looking at the deck again i realized in this type of deck Knife Juggler probably isn't needed and i honestly completely forgot that Fire Elemental was a thing lol :D

Interesting, I have a 65% win rate with it currently.

Nah, need the one drops and there aren't any good beast 1 drops to replace it with.
Its just one card and with Nath you discover so you still have plenty of choices to use with him.
If you have an idea of a replacement for Batty Guest let me know.
And yeah i had considered the rat spell too. Might give it a shot.

I pre-ordered the 70 packs and plan to buy another 50 after it launches.

I would craft them after opening the packs personally.
