I was looking through my collection since I´m playing HS for a while now. And obviously there are a lot of Legendarys that aren´t necessary at all. I will post the ones with which I´m not sure if I should Dust them. Could you help me figure out which Cards are real trash and will never see the daylight of a HS deck?
Also I love playing Wild, so I´m interested in your honest opinion, whether a card could be still playable or it´s objectively just trash. Some of the cards where pretty common for quite a while, but I haven´t seen them used for quite a while. So what´s the point of keeping them right? Also I´m lacking a lot of the newer cards and can't play the newer Decks.
Wow, really surprised how many Legendarys aren't used anymore. And even hurts to see that I put Dr. Boom in. But haven't seen any of these cards for quite a while now. Not even on streams. Either I'm too harsh or the listed cards have past their best days . Anyways, I'm grateful for every opinion!
dust Fandral, Putricide, Oblivitron, Flark, Wickerflame, Sindragosa, Emeriss, Lynessa, Shaku, Sherazin, Corpse Flower, Xaril, Hallezeal, Malkorok, King Mosh, Nat, Arfus, Goya, Maexxna, Han'Cho, Blackhand, Skycap'n, Chromaggus, Nefarian. They will never be used to win or for fun because they are super useless. I'm a player since beta and haven't seen these cards in ages. But I'm also very conservative and keep cards cuz they are cool but at the same time i think the cards I mentioned aren't even that cool. So.. it took me a while to read all those but I had some time to waste anyway. Hope it helped :)
Well, maybe in some niche Decks I saw them but mostly they disappeared from the meta. And I have to admit that I'm playing Decks that have a positive WR but not only Tier1 Decks. It's more about which cards I can dust without even feeling remorse.
I think it's always a mistake to dust cards for 1/4 value. It's just too expensive to re-craft them. If you're planning on playing Wild, it's especially unwise.
Most of the cards you've listed are NOT even close to trash - you need to be very careful before hitting that disenchant button. I've used lots of them in Wild and fun decks. Don't take that 30% payday loan just so you can get your widescreen TV two weeks early, OK?
If you need dust, try playing Arena, doing your daily quests, and earning gold for every 3 victories. Then regularly buy packs of all the newer Standard sets with gold, not just the week a new expansion comes out.
Without addressing every single one, I'll give my opinion to a few that stand out to me:
Loatheb goes into almost every single Odd or somewhat aggressive deck, and Sir Finley Mrrgglton is a great pick for aggressive decks for Warrior, Shaman or Druid. They are not as present anymore, but the card is far from useless. I'd never dust Loatheb and probably keep Finley.
Dr. Boom sure is not the must-have anymore that it used to be, but I have seen it included in some Odd Rogue and Paladin decks. Maybe not essential, but if I had any interest in those decks, I'd probably keep it.
Boommaster Flark is lately getting some attention as a worthwhile inclusion in Quest Hunter, which is starting to look pretty strong. Also, it's ok for any kind of aggressive Mech Hunter; not the very best card but good enough to consider. Can be very dangerous with Metaltooth Leaper.
Crystalsmith Kangor is a bit of a guess, but I haven't given up on Paladin ever getting some more control options. Paladin has some good OTK options in Wild (Horsemen, Holy Wrath, Anyfin), but needs the right tools to survive, and the right meta. But maybe I'm expecting too much, especially when Mecha'thun Warlock can accomplish the same so much faster.
Finja, the Flying Star is still a pretty powerful murloc, and in Shaman (and maybe Paladin), Murlocs are in a good position to have a comeback. Actually, Murloc Shaman is still ok these days. Skycap'n Kragg is somewhat similar for Pirates in Warrior and Rogue. Maybe these decks won't ever take of, but if they do, Kragg is probably a card to consider.
They thought you should dust Loatheb, one of the strongest legendaries ever printed. Why are people still paying attention to this waste of time, it was literally a blanket list of names with no explinations or reasoning. This is called filler folks, and not the kind they put in my twinkie.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
Some people making questionable suggestions for what to dust here. I would not recommend dusting Boommaster Flark, Kangor's, Finja, Sir Finley, or even Captain Hooktusk or the Boom Reaver.
Other obvious keeps are Floop's Glorious Gloop, Luna's Pocket Galaxy, Loatheb, Spiritsinger Umbra, Sathrovarr (purely for shirvalla OTK), Keleseth, and the 2 drop Kangor.
Others I would recommend keeping bc they have fringe viability are Fandral, Oblivitron, Sonya, Shaku, Darius Crowley, Baron Rivendare, Xaril, Skycap'n Kragg, Mojomaster Zihi, Dr. Boom, Sindragosa, Taldaram, Hallazeal, Malchezaar (high meme value), Dr. Morrigan, The Curator, and Professor Putricide. Everything else should be pretty safe to dust, altho personally I would keep C'thun and Veklor in case you ever want to make a C'thun deck. You really want to be careful dusting legendaries bc you never know when/if they might become very strong in future expansions and, needless to say, they are quite expensive to craft again.
