I love the effect but the body is horrible and we have no good pirates to pull other than Nightmare Amalgam and Ticket Scalper. The rest either have battlecries, combos, or effects you don't want to lose from trading with rush (like Sharkfin Fan or Southsea Captain.) Maybe next year...

would love if rogue got a decent legendary for a change, what is this 8 mana 3 health pull weak battlecry cards crap

if this would have charge, everyone would cry, becouse op card. now it's not have deck for use, but may be later

Is it bad that while everyone else is evaluating the power level of this card, all I can think about is how crappy they're making the 8-drop slot for Evolve Shamans? Every time an OP 8-cost minion with a sick battlecry is released, all I can see are its pathetic stats... :(

It's such a neat effect but they don't seem to be willing to print good support for it whatsoever. Maybe Lab Recruiter can salvage it, but right now it just feels kind of pointless.

Then again, it has a whole year in standard where new pirate can breath soe life into it

Ticket Scalper is probably the best Standard pull with this, followed closely by Southsea Captain and Cursed Castaway. In Wild, this will pull Skycap'n Kragg and Southsea Squidface, and trigger your Ship's Cannon four times. Hooktusk won't be a defining force in the Rumble metagame, but she'll be damn fun.

I kinda feel that this is lack luster due to most pirates rogue plays with have battlecries you'd miss out by having them summoned from your deck rather than played.

Unless you have Sonia in pay so you can get the battlecry with the copy, I'm not psyched about this card
