His deck had one card, but he discovered an Ignis weapon that made him draw three cards with each strike. He was playing the Astral Array Priest Standard Priest deck. He burned himself with fatigue.
Unlike the "AdjectiveNoun" bots from 2023, the new bots don't act immediately or mechanistically. They mouse over the cards in their hands before playing. I've also seen one concede when it was obviously going to lose. This AI even destroyed its own Ra-Den.
So, the AI is getting better quickly.
Edit: and my next opponent was "NavyBear", who also played Astral Array.
Title says it. I've heard it talked about, but truly that is how it should work, even from a thematic perspective. Control decks don't need to have access to that much life gain.
I just barely won my first game against Armor Warrior as Control Priest. I copied two Heavy Plate cards and an extra Astalor, the Protector for a total of three Astalors.
Paradoxically, what really saved me was the fact he summoned Tirion Fordring from his 10-cost weapon from Ignis, the Eternal Flame. I killed Tirion, and he lost his superior weapon.
So in order to win as Priest I had to get 21 extra armor from copied cards, and have the luck that he gave me the means to destroy his own weapon!
I have seen no one complaining about Hunter in Standard. Hunter is not the most played deck.
However, i almost never win against Hunter.
He has total early board control, and then he floods the board with huge rush and charge minions in the mid-game and late game, and he usually gets them through mana-cheating discovers. If a Hunter plays Lorthemar, I just concede.
I'm just surprised that only see Hunter about 30% of the time.
The Countess has to fucking go!!! Nerf that stupid trash of a card!! It always hits the board at turn 7… every single fucking time!! -and the amount of value it generates is way to much!! Another broken card from the retarded group working on this shit game..
For some reason, Grommash is invited to every party.
Twist is a fun way to play with new combos or older cards. I've already made Quest Priest, Infuse Demon Hunter, and Elemental Shaman. I don't win every game, but I win many. It's refreshing.
I also like being rewarded for having a deep collection of old cards.

Wow, my iPad is updating Hearthstone!
It didn't work at all throughout 2023, so I just gave up.
Edit: It updated, but it's still crashing. Oh well, back to PC.

My reward was a Great Dark Beyond pack.
When did they change from giving a Standard Pack?

Once at Turn 9 an egg spawned a Sleeping Dragon, so I thought the cost of the spawns was related to the turn.
That is not the case. Sometimes they are 5 drops, and I don't know why.

Just won a game against "BrownHound".

Thank God for the Salt Police!

Priest: "Holy Spellcaster" and "Psionic Mind Zapper" shouldn't go together in one class.

They listened to you!

I have yet to win a game against an Armor Warrior. I was once OTK'd from 35 health and 4 armor.
Which decks have a chance against it?

I will not be sad to see Identity Theft leave Standard.
I guess I should accept that I must be punished for holding good cards, but I don't.

Another nice thing: no Prince Renathal!
I'd forgotten what it was like to play with only 30-card decks.
